Hi Lucas, you lost me at "artistic text tool". I'm in Affinity Designer v2 and can't find one, even when I look closely in the same area that you found yours and open up the little icons there. Maybe show how to get to it if it's not automatically on one's screen? Just FYI for your future videos in case you want to keep the true noobs like me. Thanks!

Can I somehow apply the gradient in terms of transforming to a set color so if I pick a color in the gradiant it wont pick the gradiant as a whole?

Worked great. For situations like this, it worked a lot better than the clone stamp. Although you don't have to use the Develop Persona, you can stay in Photo Persona. In Photo Mode you don't get the reference circles, but it does go a lot faster.

No matter how many times I hit reverse pixel selection, no matter what, or how.... it deletes the item I want to keep. So a floral I painted, it just keeps deleting the floral and not the background

Hey Lucas, I have a drawing with transparent background with black lines. Raster image. Is there a way to use paint brush tool to change the drawing color to white without retracing it?

I got to the point where my plater circle is on the blemish, but even when I move it around, it is not getting rid of the blemish. I love how you 'Boom', but it's not showing me enough. can you elaborate please, in a slower, more basic language, please? You don't say which button you are clicking & holding? Thanks for making this sound so easy!! I am trying to get away from CorelDraw. There are a few things in it that I haven't figured out in Affinity. BUT making warped/wavy text is something I really want to be able to do easily is some other program. Maybe I will be able to switch over to this after all!!
