Cold handss and feet are often caused by Raynauds phenomenon, which is undiagnosed in many people. If you think you have "poor circulation" ask your doctor if they think you have it. There are medications to help.

Wear slippers, those tiles are cold. Onion that wasn't in the fridge gives better results. You can also put onion slices (put foil over and tape it to your head) on your forehead and cheeks overnight. Even better remedy is black radish, you carve a hole through the middle of it and pour a pair of table spoons of honey in the hole. Then put radish in a jar and leave it for day or two, then collect the syrup.

I went through the ice cross-country skiing on the creek behind my property a couple of years ago - water was about 4 feet deep, so I could touch bottom, but getting myself out took a lot longer than one might think (probably a good 5 minutes). Temp was -5C, I was about 2 km from home, and everything was soaked to the skin - didn't take long before my hands started going numb. I did the arm-shake trick like in the video, but it wasn't enough to get the circulation back. So I went to Defcon 2: stripped off the wet gloves, shoved both hands down my pants and lodged them firmly between my thighs against my groin. It may sound freaky, but it's probably the warmest part of your body and least sensitive to temperature pain. I stopped and repeated this every few minutes until I got home. It staved off the frostbite and kept my fingers functional.

I thought you were going to slam them in the car door like I do. The pain helps get the blood where it needs to be, and the swelling insulates my bones. I get it,even with the most insulated gloves. I actually don't feel the cold anywhere else. My wife feels the slightest chill, and her hands are always warm. Even what was demonstrated here doesn't work for me. I have to put my cold bare hands under my armpits skin to skin,or get into somewhere warm. It takes at least 10 minutes for me to get the feeling back, and then the real pain begins. This can even be an issue at about 3° C. As a roofer this can be a nightmare. The weird thing though, is that once my hands have warmed up again I am fine for the rest of the day. Apparently, Bear Grylls has a similar issue. It is thought to be as a result of prolonged exposure to cold. It damages the smallest blood vessels in the hands.

Cold. Wind. Wet. They each are an issue but any combo of those and your hurting pretty quick. Friction by rubbing together can actually cause more issues once the cold sets in to your extremities. Place numb hands under your armpits to warm them, yes it will be a shock but I have frostbitten fingers and I'd much rather would have dealt with a temporary shock than the complete inability to deal with cold. It physically hurts and hands are of no use forever now
