@@Bin0mar It should be jolting but usually when slowing like 20mph or under it’ll start to engine brake. When the engine braking releases you’ll feel a slight buck. It is completely normal and it depends how hard you’re braking! If you’re braking quickly you won’t notice it. However in Sport mode say going 60mph and tap brake quickly it’ll start to hold one ratio around 3k rpm (basically for roll races or improved engine braking). You’ll definitely feel it downshifting aggressively in sport mode the harder you’re braking (especially if going 60+ mph). All normal operation. How many miles you could be due for a CVT transmission fluid service soon!

@@SlugZzSs lmaoooo this felt kinda quick at the time for a 2.5 n/a 4 cylinder. I’ve done 7.3 0-60 in this car once when it was about 50° outside.

@@J0k3rc11 Yes they did that on our Rogue (I don’t understand why) It doesn’t do that on my Altima and they were the same bulbs. You’ll have to find bulbs that have a built in resistor, or add one to the existing bulbs. At that point it’s probably better just to buy led’s with built in resistors.

@@J0k3rc11 I just looked at the ones Nissan sells for the new pathfinder through accessories. People in the Group are showing pics of them doing the same thing.

@@user-rh9su9cr4d Idk they’re pretty solid if you actually maintain them. My buddy occckid123 has about 450k on his 16’ 2.5 Altima. Original CVT just needed new engine around 400k. His 19’ 2.5 has 180k + miles.

@@hotwheelsdiecastcollector No lol…It’s a CVT (continuous variable transmission). Think of it like a go-kart, where you put your foot is what the engine does. More power? Step harder for instantaneous response no gear hunting. Simply press & go…however Nissan did add “simulated shifts” to make it feel like a traditional automatic, but the ratios do not slow the vehicle down like a traditional auto it’s continuous acceleration throughout each fake shift.

@@sidddharths6065 I usually look in the Manual for the recommended halogen replacement. Then google search “#### led bulb size equivalent” however for headlights usually h9/h11 bulbs are same in led world. Just type in “h9/h11 led” for headlights. I bought “techmax” on Amazon for the 16’ for headlights and they were amazingly bright!

They are very comfortable! The 19 inch wheels on the Platinum definitely sacrifice ride quality! I had a 20’ SV as a rental and it drove so smooth! Make sure whatever trim level you go for you get all the features you’re wanting! IMO when it comes to purchasing a vehicle sometimes 1-2k more is worth the price if you get a lot more features. You say you do a lot of traveling I think you’d like pro-pilot assist on those long trips. Just do some research so you won’t have any buyers remorse. S is a very good trim level though, our 16’ was and it didn’t have near the features as the new ones and I loved that car so much!

@@pokFryRicebich like it’s a slow start up process? If so yes that is normal for the Rogue 1.5l. Make sure your engine air filter has been replaced. I’m very glad you’re enjoying it!

@NissanAltimaGuy Yup that slow start up process. It sounds like something is wrong and or battery dying. Already change Air Filter at dealership.
