Thanks for the Video I do enjoy history. A small local town nearby has an old belt drive machine shop I hope to restore and open to the public with events and bring in antique equipment for a show. Will share if the thought comes true
I want one captive bred, great lizard.
Dave is still machining like this today. Fascinating: ua-cam.com/video/4icbLxdm57c/v-deo.html
Are all the street stormwater , soil erosion , and watershed violations no longer enforced ? ua-cam.com/video/7NSicvHMNpY/v-deo.html
Those are called Line Shafts.. my dad served his apprenticeship in the Juniata Tool Room for the Pennsylvania Railroad.. I served my tool and die apprenticeship under my father … I got a very unique education..after a little getting used to things I know I could be productive in that shop.. it would be a thrill.
My great grandfather's shop had an early diesel and pto with all of his tools running off belts.
Nice job
Check out the story of Lewis and Clark. ua-cam.com/video/wTxO6p9FaJs/v-deo.html
I remember touring this vessel many years ago. It was a very impressive machine.
Visiting tomorrow
Zheltopusik. The first sound is like "s" in measure. Its name meaning is "the little one with yellow tummy", rather affectionate.
"Legless lizard" They're called snakes people
Wonderful video, but I was wondering, shouldn't the speaking tube have a whistle piece plugged into it to get the attention of those on the other end of it?
The Carferry SS Badger on Lake Michigan still uses engine telegraphs. (Lake Michigan Carferry owned by Interlake Steamship.) They have a loud buzzer activated from the pilot house...if they need to get their attention in an out of ordinary situation. Of course...they also have radios.
Loved this!
Thank you for saying miles per hour instead of knots because most people do not know how fast a knot is!!!
I wish this was still available to show my students. Is it possible to make this available to rent or purchase?
If you're still looking for it, I see it available for purchase on Amazon.
This is great
Emailed about your breeding efforts! Hoping to find out more!
Moved a piece of wood today and found a matching pair. One male one female. I would also like the know if you happen to have the process that you went through to breed them written down
Looking to train an otter myself. Thank you for the Intel.
Soooooooooooooo let me get this straight - some guys get funding to go glamping in an area were native Americans have been hanging out for thousands of years and this is the equivalent of............going to the moon? Sheesh. (To the best of my knowledge there were no people on the moon prior to Neil Armstrong's arrival.)They weren't even the first "white guys" in the region; the French and Spanish had already been there.
Wonderful!!
Awesome.
I finally found a pair of these lizards and I love their temperament .
I LOVE OTTERS!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
This is so awesome! I also have a Sheltopusik! I would love for them to be bred in captivity instead of wild caught!
I have no idea how this doesn't have more views.
Can we get more information on how to breed them so we can slow and even stop people from taking them from the wild?
Any updates? Or details about the breeding process?
if you ever get the chance go here its worth it i promise and go to the river museum there is so many cute animals to me at least i did not get attacked but watch out for the red birds they were fighting each other
and also the mississpi river is such a beautyful place
They dook just like ferrets when happy. They are just bigger and have a deeper sounding dook than ferrets
Awesome video. Thank you for sharing. Hope it gets all the views it deserves.
