There's accidental contact on the apex - I didn't move but the other player probably feels that's true for them too. FRR decides I'm at fault enough to warn me, no idea why.

By the looks of them slowing down hard and surging forward again, they where on and off the brakes and being generally unpredictable. They maybe just had eyes for the car ahead and didn't clock me on their left. As they turn in they're either back on the throttle or off the brakes again but either way they're not leaving me a cars width to the white line. Contact is inevitable. Then again, the vortex of danger says this is my fault. My counterpoint to that is it's the start of the damn race, awareness of your surroundings is mission numero uno!

Must be said, Tiger Solo races like trash. While they did get hit A LOT, the vast majority of it was their own fault - they seemed studiously ignorant of everything around them. This is maybe just a racing incident, I'm not entirely sure however I do feel it was predominately Tiger Solo at fault. It wouldn't have hurt them one iota to move to the right to leave space for the cars re-joining but sportsmanship isn't in this players vocabulary (they're getting reported later for a ton of other incidents). Both C ADVAN (the ultimate victim here) and TTA Sneaky missed their braking points. TTA Sneaky sent C ADVAN off track but didn't get a chance to leave C ADVAN room to re-join because they got blocked from re-joining themselves by Tiger Solo. I'd also mention in passing the wiggling Tiger Solo was doing in the lead-up to this. I'm not sure if that was attempted blocking or poor car control. However TTA Sneaky did crowd them a lot. Know that you like to run your tunes, but just dropped a tune for the Camry “Daytona w/grimm” that is as close to the mustang’s tune as Forza physics would allow…. I ran a 43.240 with softs and full fuel, 43.1 is definitely possible.

Can't hold a line, bumps you in the side constantly and slows you both down yet never seems to be able to work it out cause and effect. In this one I'm tight on the inside line, they turn into me like I don't exist, bounce off and into the other player. I get pinged for it. Nice one FRR - dropped me back to A as well for this!

As you can see I completely destroy their race... 🙃 2s seems pretty harsh given the effects. However it was just the previous lap I did the exact same thing, only harder this time, but FRR remembering that displays a level of intelligence it hasn't previously shown.

I mean I'm hard up on the rhs of the track. However that said, all I do is lift rather than brake (the car motoring up behind me discouraged me from braking tbh). As I hit them from behind it's predominantly my fault and while they don't have to leave space, this early in the race it's probably best too (they had nothing on their outside). It also felt like they left the door open a bit then closed it. Not sure about this one. Probably mostly my fault though.

Same here, my tune “Daytona fastest” for the Camry and mustang will run 43.253 in 4th gear in qually. 5th gear is for draft, and has hit 217 with a good group!

You gotta try my “Indy 46.699” tune for the Camry! It’s a qually tune that ONLY works on softs…. But you can run 46.9’s the whole race, pit twice, and still come out with a 10+ second lead on 2nd place It’s designed to run flat out through the whole course in qually, and can do so in the race after lap four… (track rubber is a factor) Pit at the end of lap 8, and lap 16, and don’t run these two laps flat lol

They then try for a third time on the corner exit and come off worse. FRR thinks this is my fault. The player obviously knew I was there, the lost the inside but kept their foot in the entire time. I mean what was I supposed to do? Park up and say "after you sir". FRR is an idiot. In the spirit of compromise though I guess I could of left more space on the corner exit, I had the grip but this player had just tried to drive through me, why leave someone like that space so they can continue to attempt to drive like you're not there?

Unfortunately, Daytona is broken and tire wear has no effect on the car, so you can run the entire race on one set of softs and you will not feel any difference. This is what the player who won did. He drove the entire race without changing tires and thanks to that he had a 30s lead. I'm betting that the entire top did the same. If everything had worked, assuming they had hard tires, they would have had no traction at all a few laps before the end. If the mediums lasted about 13-14 laps, the hard ones would have died after about 20.
