I’ve lived in Linlithgow my whole life it’s so nice except for all the traffic

I agree the music does kinda spoil this. There should be music more in fitting with Airdrie to capture the essense of the place. So some Orange walk nonsense tune about fenians should do the trick, maybe have a guy dressed up like a tangerine, singing whilst throwing a stupid looking stick in the air.

Take a good look at the structure of this station. The original features of the station that are still recognisable, will not be there for much longer. They are going to “upgrade” which usually means modernise all original features out of it to make it look the same as every other spoiled, uninviting, unwelcoming mess they’ve made of other stations they’ve violated. Edinburgh’s Waverley Station is barely recognisable from how great it used to look. I hate going in there now. They are going to put into Central Station, a “Multi faith room” (mainly for frequent customers of Ali’s Snack Bar). They’ve spoiled Queen Street Station, now they’re vandalising Central. Soon Scotland will no longer be recognisable as a part of Britain.

Lovely to see wildlife. I lived in coatbridge and a sunday involved a walk out to the loch with our dog in all weathers.

Can do without the music

I’m from Stirling. It’s a nice place to stay as there isn’t much trouble there. Only thing is there’s not much to do but Glasgow is only a 25 min train journey for that.

We both stayed here for a week a few years ago in the caravan site nice village, nice views, but there was not really much to door places to go, the best thing about it was watching the seals getting fed at the harbour.

Airdrie is a backward place with high unemployment and an alcoholism problem and most of that can be placed at the door of the 17th century mindset of the sectarian orange order which gives the town a really bad name.

WoW!!! just came across these video's, the drum salute is amazing, the bass drummer needs more credit though having his drum tuned so well, along with the Tenor drummers playing tremendously excellent, such a masterclass from an amazing band that should be higher up in the world rankings, if i lived closer i would certainly join this band.

I used to be the proud owner of one disc too ,itwas Elvis singing Hound Dog. But eventually I got tired of playing it . But not as quickly as I got sick of this music.

A most beautiful place to visit, it grips you,and takes you back to its wonderful history. It will never leave you, the wonderful memories will stay with you always. I hope to be back this summer.
