Nice video, well presented and explained. One thing I would have mentioned is the importance of being mindful of using the center needle position or going no wider than 5 mm with the stitch center based for stitches on a machine with 9 mm know width.
Just the information that I needed. I just purchased the #50 walking foot from my dealer, but couldn’t figure out what the extra metal part was for. You explaining how it’s used to secure the sewing guides makes much more sense than the way it was presented in the manual. Thank you!

my machine does not like aurifil no matter what I do. It likes King Tut , superior threads. It is frustrating. Never had this problem before and been sewing for 30 yrs.

My foot is much bigger than the pad you are showing. Do they make a larger one? I’m currently using a non skid shelve paper, which works great too.
The mat is 10" x 7" and fits your foot "pedal" perfectly. Your foot/shoe size doesn't matter. What matters is that your foot pedal fits on the mat to prevent it from sliding. It works great!

The best press left white starch marks on my fabric that won’t wash out. I used a dry medium heat iron. The best press flaked and left a stain. I have no idea what I did wrong? I followed the directions but at a loss.

Ive never done any quilting what’s so ever, but I’m getting ready to make a travel bag and need to quilt 1/ 12 yards of fabric. My question is how would I do that on a regular sewing machine ( Singer Quantum 9960) is it possible? Can I use the tape in the video and if so, do I need to find the center first? I would like to do diagonal lines but not sure if that’s possible. Do I need a long arm machine? I am so confuse and really would like to do it right Can you advise me on what I should do. I would really appreciate your help. Thank you😀

Where is your shop located? I live in Beaumont, Texas and am looking for a new Bernina shop for me since there is no longer a Bernina shop in Beaumont. At present I have a 1976 830 Bernina the still does a beautiful job. It does most everything I want to do but... I would like to have a new one. NO! I won't give up my 830!!! It sews through everything. I made a Terry cloth robe for my uncle for Christmas one year. It sewed through 5 layers of Terry cloth fabric!!! NO skips even with out the BSR. That's just one reason I am so sold on a Bernina. I really need a shop to go to though. Thank you for your UA-cam channel. Just found you. Looking forward to more!

I’ve just used 4 in my embroidery hoop and the magnet at the bottom kept getting stuck on my metal sewing plate, which stopped the embroidery from sewing out correctly. Also, one came apart and almost ended up under my needle. Luckily I saw it in time. Going back to hooping my fabrics.

No, they do not stick to your the needle plate. I've used them several times and they just glide over it.
No, because they're magnetized to themselves (the top matches up to its bottm,) so they just slide over the stitch plate. They won't stall your project at all. Good question!
Yes, they do and hence they mess with your embroidery unit.
