Yeah I've always wanted one of those :) I have a few things like Kontact mics and the intercom MIC to capture sounds but that thing has loads of options!

I absolutely love this. I could imagine recording long chords/single notes from a piano or a tambura and creating various drones using this

Hi Ben, it works great with audio or CV. The inputs as DC decoupled. The Fader is a linear but it works great with audio :)

That's right just peices of 1/4 tape and my IEC Tapehead module, I make sample packs which come with the module. The latest one is a collection of noise and textures from the BBC sound effects archive :)

@@beepboopelectronics It would be awesome... I'm guessing it's three vactrol vcas that respond better to envelopes than gates as there are no controls for release or anything like that? I'm interested in hearing the three different types of response as for the price it seems like a no brainer.

Yeah have fun experimenting :) The chip has alot of quirks to getting it working at it's best but if you just want to get started building up someting I recommend the OM Synth tutorial by Bastl. it gives a good basis to get started but getting the chip to reliabaly record when in loop mode and reducing the click for example have taken alot of experimemtation. I am very near to releasing a new version using another ISD chip which has longer recording time and is much more stable and reliable over a wider range.

they do :) i really like using those labels on the first versions of modules as it give me the chance to add extra control without sending off for new panels.
