This is really easy to figure out but on the flipside the idea of it and sheer work needed to create it is astounding.

It's sad to see how hard Alyson has hit the wall. It happens to everyone, and Alyson still looks fine for her age, but during the mid-late 90s she was probably the most attractive celeb on earth in an era when "slutty-preppy" was in and "cute" was unfortunately not what Hollywood wanted, she was a refreshing mix of cute and reserved beauty - a perfect looking woman for the time. It's inevitable but still sad when the wall claims another one of God's works of art. It reminds me of the relentless passage of time, and how fleeting youth is.

Haha Allison almost said back: "Dental work" stopped and said "dental... relatives" 😂 Everyones teeth Usually start to go a bit colored at her age and every celeb takes veneers. Hence one of the reasons why everyone always says celeb x looks young for their age.

How was this a fail?

Probably the worst possible position for the monkey picture. Would have been so much believable on spot 3.

My son is seven years old and figured this out right away. To expect this act fools Penn and Teller is... absurd.

The verbal distraction is incredible, and the big clue is not seeing behind each picture as they 'click' into place to set up the middle spelling. Helicopter could be UN, Navy and all pictures could have multiple names. My belief is Alison is following a script here. Listen to the verbal on the Helicopter choice, 'make sure it's a good one', spot chosen is position one.

"Helicopter" and "Magician" were lucky outcomes for sure. Some initials must have been more far-fetched.

This one was easy he had the ability to call the pictures anything he wanted.. instead of New York City it could have been Manhattan.. could have called that picture of monkey.. could have called the Alps mountains. He chose five pictures and he could have made them anything he wanted to spell human. As for the back of the picture I'm sure he had a slight of hand that he could change the letters to what he wanted

Pretty good idea but his props are so obviously revealing that he is an embarrassment.

Not too hard to figure out. I'm not sure what five names he gave to each picture but it's a clever idea even if it didn't fool me. Not often I can say that.

Really easy to figure out this trick, but I did like the different type of presentation. Obviously, the middle bits of each letter was manipulated to spell the letter once they were put onto the stand.

It's all in the handwork. As soon as Allison calls out a number, he changes the way he holds the pictures. He needs to place one hand in the middle of the image to manipulate the blue part .

I think this would have worked better if it weren't in HD and before an audience. As it is, we can see what P&T can see. Also, that isn't what a Uakari looks like. It could pass for a Howler monkey though. Or a Napo saki.

Is the trick how he changes he letter behind each picture from an H to U to M to A to N in any combination?

Cool trick, and the magic is in the storytelling. As far as how it is done the block lettering is key, each card is two lines on the left and right and just the middle needs to be changed to form each letter. There are creases or lines in each, almost like the shape in the middle that form the letters can be moved... Well done.

This is the FIRST time I've understood Penn's code. "The Middle" because each letter is turned into what he needs it to be in the middle.

I'm almost always entertained by the acts on Fool Us, whether I know how they work or not. Not so much this time. That's OK by me. I still love Penn & Teller's Fool Us.

Crazy thing is, I just sat here and picked the numbers my self, and I picked exactly the same numbers as Alison did!

This is the only trick at P&T that I was able to figure out by myself. It made it even more enjoyable to watch. What an awesome act. Thank you, Yann!

I figured this one out on my own when he had the woopsie ending. I have had the fortune of watching Penn and Teller figure out enough other tricks of course. We are all a little more educated these days. lol Still a highly entertaining and fun trick even if you can figure it out... great presentation.
