Building Everything In Miniature
I have been building models since I was a kid. I mostly build armor models, but I also branch off to everything from aircraft, trains, and tabletop gaming. If you can build it, paint it, and put it on a base, I want to try it.
I enjoy building dioramas, scratch building, and using my resin 3D printer to make my builds come to life.
I hope to take you along, and hopefully inspire you to try different aspects of this amazing hobby. I'm always learning, growing, and trying new techniques to improve my skills. I would never claim to be an expert, I just want to have fun, show my work and process to the community, and continue to learn.

You do amazing work. Man, thank you for sharing.
ワイヤーネットを作るアイテムはどこのメーカーで何という商品名でしょうか。
At the 1 min mark i show you that i made it myself.
ワイヤーの下のベースの事なんですが、これも自作でしょうか。
@@スタトレ yes I did. I used tinkercad and 3d printed it.
@@mattockmodels ありがとうございました。
what material you use? telgopor?
That looks awesome. Just about to start my own Abrams build, so i'll be using some of your techniques👍
And so will I
Great series on this 38 (t)! You do a really good job of explaining your processes. 💪🏻
What kind of paints&colours did you sprayed on the model?
I believe the green is a shade of olive drab, the gray is ocean or light gull gray. But both are heavily manipulated with oil paints.
Anybody know where to find this Camo wash paint he is using? "The Filter" from Sin Industries P419. Can't locate it anywhere online. Anybody know of something similar? I have painted mine with Valejo Desert Camo as a base.
It's actually from MIG, its an old bottle so it only says MIG on the back. if you search "MIG orange for desert camo" you should find it. Hope that helps!
What is the name of the robotic kit you used it seems ideal
I got it on amazon. It's called "think gozmos build your own robot kit for kids" your just basically harvesting out the remote and transponder from it so if you have one, or can find a better one you can use that too. I was just trying to show a simple way to get started. Have fun, hope that helps.
Great video and well presented. Super looking armour.
Really great work👌🏻 What did you mean when you said 3d printed? Filament or a resin printer with liquid resin? What is more common in scale modeling and printing such fine detailed parts like windows, roof tiles,…, a resin printer or a filament printer?
Resin 100% better for scale models. much less prep work. but considerably more toxic to work with.
sir, what are you using for the roof sheets..???
It's plastruct brand 1/32 corrugated siding
That was a great video mate and heaps of good tips thanks
Just found this video. Really enjoyed it. Can you tell me where you got the extra stowage gear from?
They're a combination of MENG, Tamiya and 3D printed stowage. The kits are all labeled as U.S. modern. Hope that helps.
What color of green did you use for the missiles?
Olive drab I believe
Very nice! You made it look so easy. Thank you for showing us how you made the puddle, it's a great idea.
Dang! How cool is that?!? Nice overall workmanship and execution 🙂
Thanks so much! It was fun to try something new and a little out of the ordinary.
Brilliant work! Really like the fact that you talk while doing the painting, much more interesting than just music
Top work buddy! Really enjoyed watching. Only just discovered your channel! Keep up the good work
Thank you so much!
"Full build"? Not quite... LOL!
Good video but where did you get the parts?
I got everything on amazon.
Oh this one turned out fantastic! Those LED noodles look like a lot of fun, gotta try that one day. I've only just found your channel after looking for lessons on multiole colour camos, your French tank diorama was fantasticly helpful on that front. I'll be happy to watch any video you put out if it has brought you joy to make!
Thank you so much, glad I could be helpful.
Great Guide ! Magnets for Panel Access, 3D printing Extra Brackets to help the Glue also helps.
No fair using your 3D printer. Few of us have those. I learned from your scratch building work, but...
The printers are mostly just faster, especially for UA-cam. Almost everything that I design can be scratch built by hand. The biggest benefit of the printers is duplication. Also the printers have come down in price considerably and some maker spaces will let you use them to print.
@@mattockmodels I understand, but it makes me so envious...
WHY DESTROYED?!
This depicts an actual BMP2. It was a good study for burnt techniques. You can find the side by side of the reference and diorama on my Instagram.
and could u share the files? I liked the vid, I'll sub & ring & share if u share the files
The .STL files are available on my Etsy page.
@@mattockmodels That's cool, but u gotta share the link. In ur description & when people ask, like I did.
This is really good man!
Honestly considering buying the little toy robot and making my own RC tank with cardboard
love that idea!
Nice one 🎉 For the trench it’s globally what I should have to do on my diorama (you can see it on my channel): more variants of woods and not a pre build plastic one. I think I will make it again in the future. Again good job!
I contemplated using the supplied kit trench but I agree there wasn't enough variation. Yours still looks great though. Awesome job
@@mattockmodels thanks 😊
I hope we get to see them all again one day, awesome build. Cheers.
Epic
Yeah, life can be a real downer at times but glad you are feeling perkier now. Great job, really love the effects and the simplicity of the staging. I would also enjoy watching a ship build if ever you decide to showcase one on your channel.
Thank you so much! I have a fun idea for the ship build so I think you'll see some of what I've been working on for sure.
Ever done any Mad Max inspired builds? I would love to see your take on something like that!
Hmm... that could be very interesting actually!
Cool I love flame affects 😮
Fantastic build. Sorry about your dog and the burnout. Do you sell your 3D files by any chance?
Thank you so much. I have an Etsy store with the track link .Stl for sale
Impressive.
Sorry about the dog. Great build, my grandfather worked during the war at Vauxhall helping to build Churchill tanks.
Thanks so much. They really are an amazing machine!
Wow- that's cool as heck!
And also sorry for your loss...
Great idea and very good execution as well! Glad to see you here again!
Thank you so much! glad you liked it.
That looked really good never seen any of your work before 👍
Thanks for checking it out!
Great video, good talking. Don’t burn down dude. You are great builder i will be waiting for other video for inspiration and try learn something new :)
That really means a lot. The response has been really great for this one, given me a new burst of energy to keep going. Thanks for the support.
