Thank you! ❤❤❤
that was a great interview! thank you so much 😊
Babel is definitely one of the key works in fictional decolonial literature and thank you so much for bringing Kuang!
This is amazing!! Thank you for uploading this interview :')
I need the link to the metal song "What of me there is in you"!!
I've tried finding it on spotify to no avail, sorry!

Thank you so much for the time stamps
Hlo,Where did I get the audiovook of this novel, plz.. reply
Lang Leav is my favorite poet and to hear that she comes from a family of immigrants has me empathizing with her. I have a majority of her books and I hope one day to meet her in person!
♥️♥️
Her racist books should be taken off the shelves now. Wow the hate and prejudice of KFL is unbelievable.
I don’t find her books racist at all. I am confused why you would say that. Yes it’s against white supremacy and colonialism. If you’re against writing that includes that, cool?
Just found this interview! Love it. Amazing work everyone 🫶
This is such a great interview! Thanks for sharing!
This is our book club’s selection. I finished, terrific work. It’s a fast & great read! 👍🏼Thank you for this video.

Very good. She is such a great writer and charming person
I read as long as the lemon trees grow recently, it was incredible! The author is such a talented writer, can’t wait to read more from her. Also, could y’all really not tell khawf was hot???
Khawf really was hot😭😭 everything was sooo cool in this book, the plot twist was SO unexpected that I was trying to get used to this new shocking info for like a long time… I envy every person who didn’t read it bc he will experience a really huge spectrum of emotions 🥲💔💔 I love it
Thanks for sharing this video. The Asian literature colloquium at my college is reading The Mountains Sing, and the conversation with the author is a great resource for our group.
Just finished Babel and absolutely loved it. I cannot wait to read her future books (and now I have to get The Poppy War series).
Thank you for uploading this interview! This was the first time I heard R. F. Kuang speak and it was so so lovely
Finished babel, in pain, SOO excited for her next book
This is a wonderful interview! Ken Liu is one of my favorite authors. I especially like how he describes life and culture in Asian countries with authenticity, without the colonial bias and agenda that he mentioned here in this talk. His stories are fascinating, thought-provoking, and empowering. Thank you Mr. Liu, for being such an inspiring writer!
i have never felt more enlightened or inspired after watching a youtube interview
I guess Nezhe made peace with the Hesperians at the end of the Burning God so Nikara can have time to recover. That actually reminds me of Deng Xiao Ping's strategy. So I guess in the real world, for the past 70 years the CCP has indeed brought China/Nikara the peace it need to recover and improve the people's lives. BTW, I was born in Taiwan and I used to be very anti-PRC, but my view about the PRC has taken an 180 degrees turn in the last 3 years, especially after the COVID pandemic, having experienced the anti-Asian hate and seeing how the US use really dirty tactics to try and derail China's development and all. I think it was the western media's overly negative reporting on China that piqued my curiosity about China and I began to research China myself. And I discovered China is not the big evil that the western politicians and the media desperately want me to believe. As a result I no longer see the CCP as the eye of Sauron, instead I view the CCP more objectively. In my view, although the CCP has done a lot of harms to China via bad policy decisions during the cultural revolution, but we cannot deny the modern CCP have done a lot of good for the mainland Chinese people and also for the 3rd world countries. Some people have called me China sympathizer and what not but I don't care because people who use labels and name callings are obviously hijacked by emotions and irrational, meanwhile I only care about the truth so I am happy to live in my world of greys.
Hi I Love This Book
She failed to mention how she whines about still popular and enduring "dead white men" such as Jordan and Tolkien having the gall of taking shelf space at Barnes and Noble she felt she deserves. Why she feels this way besides her own hubris I have no idea.

jkahjdgfads i loved this sm 😭😩
This was done so well loves, you did great 🥺🤍
Loved the discussion with the author! ❤️
George rr martin would like the warfare However reading it the Magic system is beautiful infused inthe plotline The warfare is storm of swordlike A very deep dense fascinating account The worldbuilding is concessies by lots of bloody warfare I had some bad feeling short but The plot wraps the weaker parts up in the constantly highest stakes on the sea battle I rate this book ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ladies - I just finished reading Pachinko in anticipation for the new Apple TV series coming out. I loved watching this live show that you all did in 2020. It's funny to hear you guys talk about the new show "coming out", and knowing it'll come out next week. I too, hope that the new series gives this book justice as it was such a beautiful and poignant story that is kind of a 'hidden history" to a lot of people.
She turns sabaa tahir into gold
Loved this live, thanks for uploading it! But for real though, where is Fonda Lee's PO Box? I need to send her my therapy bills, I might never recover emotionally 🤧 🧡
