If you listen to the original song, the bassline is very simple. The third track is the bass sound.
The bass pattern and chord is actually simple and just repetitive, the producer only play with different beat each verse. So basically, the main thing that make this song not boring is the vocal melody. So creative! This is proof that you don't have to make some complicated song just to make it awesome! 👏 Nice Remake btw, the bass is so on point, great job!

Do you knoe what the snare is called in the beginning of the song (like a specific name for the instrument)? I like how it sounds
The reason why it is different from the usual snare sound is that the bass and high sounds are cut off a lot in the EQ filter
idk if this helps but this is called a amen break! its used in alot of different genres like Drum n Bass, Jungle and Breakcore. its a common breakbeat sampled throughout the 90’s till now. if u like how it sounds i definitely recommend checking out Pinkpantheress as she samples this beat a lot!!
