Thanks for checking out my video . You can use a Carolina rig , and use ghost shrimp or grass shrimp , this spot is san pablo bay , and the month of April and may , it will get full of sting rays and sharks , you can troll for striper and halibut as well . Good luck

So I watch all of these kayak fisherman on UA-cam going out on the Bay. I saw that you are out in a smaller boat. I would love to go out and fish the Bay. Would I be safe taking my 14 foot aluminum boat out there. I know the swells are different from day to day. Thanks.
Hi ,thanks for checking out my channel , it just depends of the weather ,some days it's like glass and others a bit more choppy. The boat I have is a whaly . It's 14 feet and it's made of plastic , so it's very stable if rough water . I would say you should be fine , if you go in a super calm day ,, I've also seen small aluminum boats out every once in a while . I would say just check the weather and swell before going out , and be out of the water by 1 , because it gets rough out there around that time , depending on what part of the bay your in .

The toad fish rod I was useing this day was 6'8" and medium light rod

nice video, beautiful day out! Not trying to be that guy but good idea to ware a life jacket while driving solo. just incase you go in. if your anchored you could jump back in but not while boat is in gear. You probably know someone died last year in the same spot, boat was found out of fuel so most likely fell in with boat in gear. I had been guilty of that as well but that hit close to home and set a reminder you never know what can happen... again thanks for the video and good luck in 2024!
