Making Sandalwood Patchouli Soap
This soap will appeal to both men and women. This is an unplanned rustic looking soap, and i promise, you'll love it. Drop swirl technique was used and, it came out quite beautiful.

New Soap vs Old Soap
Переглядів 924 місяці тому
In a single bar, see the difference between new soap vs old soap. The new soap is freshly made soap and the old soap are soap scraps from previous batches. They are "old" because the scraps were shaved off soap made a while ago. This soap bar is a good example of the wear and tear/ longevity of soap. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. If you are referring to incense powder, I am not familiar with how it would hold up in soap and also how quickly it will accelerate, become problematic, etc. It will be important to know and understand the components and purity of the incense powder. I generally fall in the category of using fragrance oils, essential oils or a hybrid. You can always safely play around with testing ingredients in a small sample batch. Thanks for the like and sub! Welcome to the Friz Fam!

    Delightful, reminds me of vintage linoleum...a creamy opaque orange swirl would be nice. Hodge-podge and surprising to the eye. Great job! I make this type of soap also and they float like Ivory soap of yesteryear. I caution folks that this combination soap is for people with NO allergies, that might (,possibly) contain Pumice, activated charcoal, botanicals, combined scents/colorants Ect. Could you not have just put that frosting in the cupcake bases and then redo frosting

    • @frizdrip
      @frizdrip 5 місяців тому

      Soap frosting is too thick to be used as a cupcake soap base. There will be too many air pockets and the frosting will not take the shape and contours of the base mold correctly.

    wait i thought you need to boil potassium hydroxide???

    • @frizdrip
      @frizdrip 6 місяців тому

      Sodium hydroxide is used in solid bar soaps and it doesn’t need to be boiled. It creates a lot of heat when it interacts with water. Potassium hydroxide is used in making liquid soap and hybrids like shaving cream and many heat it up on the stove to accelerate complete dissolution.
