How To Channel And Connect To The Universe
How do you channel and connect to the universe, your spirit guides, guardian angels, and any other being or aspect of the universe you seek?
The ability to connect to the wisdom and guidance of the universe is within all of us - but it may seem as if it is out of reach within your own practice, or perhaps it may seem that channeling and connecting to the universe is impossible.
I believe both are very possible and achievable to everyone. HOWEVER, I think there is one point that prohibits most from really unlocking this guidance.
In this video, I share my thoughts on how to approach the practice of channeling and connecting to our guides, the universe, or anything else you wish-and the good news is-everyone can do it!

Thank you for your video helping to normalize energy and Reiki so others can not only learn, but know its normal to feel energy. I'm glad to see energy being more accepted in the states. I have felt energy and used it in various ways since I was a kid having to figure it out on my own as more became available to me. I'm learning Reiki to learn how to use the universal energy rather than my own when healing others. Keep up the good work!

My Catholic/Christian background has taught me that this is a scam at best, and evil at worst! Not sure what I believe anymore, but what I have been doing has not helped much...

Can Reiki work through a Computer Screen ? I've seen some Reiki Masters perform Reiki on UA-cam and I was wondering on how that kind of energy work would be able to be processed through such a medium.
Thank you for the comment and question, I appreciate both. So these videos, IMO, are more about mental attachments and belief than actual healing. Reiki is a practice that aims to cultivate a quiet mind, one that is free of attachments and belief. In this state, healing is a byproduct. This is much the same as when we are sleeping. I hope that helps!
Jesus laid hands on people to heal them. Reiki is healing by laying hands on those that need it. Human touch has healing powers.

And what have you to say about the extremely common occurrence of severe physical illness which is not founded in belief but is founded in physiological poisoning? I'm open-minded enough to consider the possibility of a direct link between belief systems in the brain and the nervous system as it relates to autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus. Beyond conditions which are rooted in our nervous system and our immune response, I have not seen anything to support the notion that our body is able to recover from poisonings without the help of an external antidote and I'm not talking about an energy healer as an antidote. I'm talking about a specific chemical compound is able to be metabolized by the body in a way that defeats or neutralizes and helps eliminate a toxin which is in the process of killing a person. My big beef here is that desperate people place faith in a fallacy and they allow a delusion to form and they entrust their life in that delusion which is supported by the practitioners of the fallacy. And then they die. And then the Reiki Masters go to the bank and make another deposit.
Thank you for the comments. Reiki is a practice that helps one to cultivate a peaceful internal (mind and body) state. From this state, much as it is when we sleep, the body is able to heal as there are, ideally, notable decreases in stress, inflammation (the cause of most diseases), respiration, oxidation, parasympathetic activation, etc. Of course when there are major traumas then one would need external help as Reiki is not a substitute for proper medical care.
Okay I'll tell you what turned me away from Reiki entirely. It was the videos on UA-cam that are nothing more than an instrumental audio track that is supposed to touch on certain frequencies and supposed to heal damage to specific vital organs through an auditory perception. That is some bullshit right there
I agree, there are many approaches to Reiki that are simply off basis and formed from attachment and belief - which are aspects of suffering. I don't fully agree that sound therapy doesn't have healing properties. If the incorporation of sound brings the mind and body into a deep state of relaxation then the healing repsonse may be facilitated. We hold emotions and traumas in the body and, thus by extension, in the organs. This is one of the basic points of Chinese medicine, to treat the attachments of the self onto the past (to put it simply). I do hope that people will begin to see the practice of Reiki for what it is, which is a journey into the self to cultivate stillness in the self. Reiki has nothing to do with healing, channeling, downloading, opening chakras, balancing energy or anything along these lines. These are all forms of attachments, and it is easy to get seduced and distracted by our attachments. The direction of the practice is anshin ritsumei, and I do believe people are begining to recognize this as all other attachments are, ultimately, dead ends. I hope that helps

Another fantastic teaching, Bruce--thank you. 🙏 Can you clarify something for me? You often speak of the Self, but my understanding of essential Buddhist teaching is that, in truth, there is no self. Can you say more about what you're referring to when you speak of the Self?
Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it! Indeed, there is no self, because even that has its orgin in the mind. When I am referring to the notion of the self, you might consider that I'm really saying the nature of the mind. If the mind is active then we may frame that activity within the nature of the ego, or of external experiences, or of emitions, feelings, traumas, ect. All of those would then be part of the "self" however, if the mind is quiet, then where would the self find its meaning? I hope that helps and thank you for your comments and support of the channel!

Thank you for the comment and I can't say specifically on this. Reiki is a great technique to counter inflammation as it is a practice that fosters relaxation. From this, healing is facilitated for sure. However, I wouldn't make claims that it can heal or cure specific issues. I hope that helps!
I love the examples used. But if we all naturally place our hands on areas that we have hurt etc. Why do we need an attunement?
So this is a big question and it is actually one of the bases of traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho. The attunement process is often discussed as something that can be transmitted or given from the teacher to the student - this is the way it is almost always talked about in the western approaches to Reiki. However, this approach goes against the precepts of Usui Reiki Ryoho as well as the understanding that Reiki is the energy of all things. So if this is the case, then why is there the attunement process? We are working to quiet our own minds, we have to remember the aspects of the practice: 1. daily recitation of the precepts 2. self treatment 3. attunement (reiju). This helps us to see the focus is not about healing or about giving to others, but rather, it is about recognizing all attachments come from the mind, and so we need to constantly improve the quality of our minds. This is now hinting towards the nature of the attunement. I hope that helps and thank you for the comment!

Had I not listened to this I would've played the bowls in a pattern, thinking it was right - you said do not use a pattern, as no pattern will calm the mind quicker- thank you 🙏 I hope I understand this correctly- as later you said a music person will not appreciate non-pattern of sound Is the non- pattern just for children and very busy minded adults?
Someone with a very acute or trained ear may get frustrated by the random playing of the bowls, but to those who don't have such accuity, then randomness is the way to go, at least in my experience.
I am also a teacher of young children. I am so grateful for this information! So many kids have no focus and I love the singing bowl start to relax them . Classroom or reiki table - I am incorporating my bowls. So grateful for you sharing your knowledge! ❤

Thanks for the instruction. I unfortunately couldn't feel anything between my hands, as is the case when I've previously attempted energy work. But I did feel my muscles become far more untensed than they usually do, so I wonder if that was the effect of qi flowing through them.
Thank you for the comment and you know the heat is simply one of the many experiences we may have as we practice. If you are feeling this response in your muscles, then perhaps this is your guidepost - which is what these experiences are in the end...they help us to see that the mind is giving way.
