This is a very strange video. You keep referring to Marx in a way that makes it seem like you have no understanding of Marxism. This doesn't even seem to have much relevance to Marxism beyond being a somewhat interesting account of part of a society. I think the main problem with this video is that there does not seem to be much of a point. There is nothing to criticise because nothing is being said. The only thing I can take from this is that Liberal Jesus, who upholds the eternal principles of liberty and equality, will save us. It leaves the actual society as little more than a backdrop for him to perform his miracles on.

In the Netherlands this novel is still highly regarded as a novel. It may be the oldest piece of Dutch literature that people still read for fun. Maybe the translation hasn't been kind on the text but in Dutch the Drystubble bits are actually funny.
