My Brother's friend let us borrow his Sega CD in the 90s for few weeks. It was surreal, since I never saw any games that used CD medium but they never heard of this game. We ended up Playing WWIII an rts game. And Final Fight CD for a couple weeks.

This game used to PISS ME OFF. It was cool and the story was cool but the mechanics were tough to get used to and when you started fighting armored enemies it got hard

The precursor to Yakuza doing this (which one was the first to do so?).

The fact there is a Tech Noir level makes this game 100% cooler straight away!

Pro tip: change playback speed to 1.5x; Homey giving Flash from Zootopia over here. Major experimental film reference props for the unexpected Maya Deren drop. As far as re-playability is concerned, the ability to get your music into the game is a big W, but the feature was likely given little attention by the marketing team as they likely felt major labels would sic all the lawyers on the studio for not being able to license, and therefore, funnel more money, to them. I don’t recall it being mentioned, but the other Vib titles didn’t have that feature, right?

i am 38, been playing games for a long time and have been a Kojima fan since MGS on ps1. somehow, i never knew Snatcher existed until last week. been playing it this week and it is AMAZING. considering the time, its surprisingly modern and well written. its also very cool to play a game with Kojima DNA that you can actually see in every scene. great video, wish more people knew about this game. Maybe one day we'll get a full on remake. i would be happy with just a port.

there is 2 problems in this game, it have glitches and its only 6 hours long but i enjoy playing it

This game saved my life from boredom in 2000. Now, playing in 4K is too Awesome. Wish there was a threequel. "Wrath of the Raku's" ( my own personal title) with Unreal engine to really take it there.

This game is one of my favorites. And your cliff part is 10000 correct what you need to do is exactly what you are doing in the beginning than you run with like the analog instead of jump. It is tricky and the game doesn’t prepare you for this

I think the reason why this hasn't had a proper re-release is due to the Blade Runner similarities. Maybe Konami doesn't want to risk legal action ?

I've been messing around on the second game on my ps3, I love the main menu theme of the sequel

I'm currently playing this and misadventures of tron bonne on my R36S. Great being able to play it anywhere. I'm only in the 1st ch. and it had me cracking up, I love the goofy writing.

Mappy doesn’t save your high scores. In fact there’s no way to reset the high scores on ANY of them!

I just got my retro system and will be getting this game

I am going to play this for the first time via emulation on my Anbernic device. I have yet to see a bad review of Snatcher. And yes, I'm going to play the Sega CD version, the only official US translation of the title.
