I didn’t give many details but it’s a stock compression honda k series so the specific power is pretty low. 240hp ish give or take.

They machine the orifice plate off in a lathe most of the time. It’s micro welded on as standard .

Nope this is a naturally aspirated Honda k20 flat torque curve keeps the hp climbing. Can’t remember the spec but most likely some large cams plus normal bolt ons 👍

Someone has removed the orafice plate (small plate on the end of the injector with holes to atomise the fuel also regulates the flow) to increase the injectors flow. They do them in batches and then match a set together. It’s not recommended but a cheap way to gain flow. For the cost of Bosch performance injectors just buy new and be safe.

There is not really a need for low impedance injectors anymore, injector components have shrunk to a point you don’t need large current draws. You’ll only really find low impedance injectors 2500cc plus today. I don’t believe there is any performance gain to be has from either setup. The reality is 90% of all performance injectors are high impedance. I would say, Bosch seems to have the market and they do make the best injectors. Exactly the reason company’s like ASNU and Injector Dynamics use them

I’ve had nothing but problems out of these fake 555ccs, I’m on my 5th set. The Pintle fails and will fall off into the combustion chamber then the bottom o-ring gets pushed out with fuel pressure then your cylinders get filled with fuel, or they just straight lock up and stay wide open causing no start situations and crazy backfires while trying to start. Absolute trash

Thanks for sharing dude, great to see the process, very interesting. I’m currently trying to diy clean my injectors and then realised they are side feed which makes a diy clean pretty much impossible. Learned something anyways so not a total loss 😉👍🏻
If doing a diy clean make sure it’s the same process. Ultrasonic cleaning with the correct cleaning chemicals. I’ve seen the spray chemicals from a can clean …. This is not the way to go and could potentially cause more problems than fix. It’s the testing afterwards that would make it hard. If you aren’t testing a range of duty cycles and flow rates… you can’t tell if they are better or worse.
I've tested chinese "green giants" that flowed only 350cc. Luckily nobody had put them in Volvo T5 (or any car). Immediate destruction of engine would be very close.
