If you have no one shot abillity myph and need to deal, for example with cyclops or any other myph with lwrge hp bar, lampades are good for this. The fact that Chimera costs only one more population (most precious and valuable resource in OG AoM) than Anubite and is so much stronger baffles me. Although as defensive-minded turtle, I do love Anubites thanks to their incredible potential to "snipe out" my bane, the siege weapons. In this video, Anubites might look like waste of resources, but in many of my playthroughs with Set (yes, a turtling Set player), they often were life-savers.

Nereids excel at killing water myth units, I think their special move is more noticeable in the Egyptian leviathan for example, dealing a ton of damage, I suppose that the shark bite animation is their special move in ships
