Just watched this after 20 years I was 23 at the time it’s brought such good memories back I loved it,would be fantastic if they did a second series later in life when they may have drifted apart and then meet up again accidentally

Sandra Bullock and George Newbern are the only ones worth watching in this sitcom

Thank you for posting these, it’s been great watching them back exactly 20 years later! It originally aired at the start of my third year at university and my then girlfriend (now wife❤) and I loved it. The ending and the subsequent lack of second season are just as frustrating today 😢

They took the two-hour movie and compressed it into a 22 minute sitcom episode.

I'm not normally one to write reviews but it's an absolute travesty that NY-LON flopped, as someone who has been in exactly this position with a long distance relationship, it captures the highs, lows, the intensity and the heart break of long distance love...... it's an absolute masterpiece and I guess elements of it only strike home if you have been in this situation. 11/10 from me.

My father, God rest his soul, lived this show. He wasn't happy when it got cancelled. He used to sing the theme song. I used to laugh when he did. Now, hearing this theme makes me cry because I think of him. This theme and the theme to Early Edition makes me cry because I think I'm my father. Rest in peace, daddy. ❤

So, it seems the producers of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” knew they were going to be cancelled and made this as a last episode? It looked like the show was just picking up momentum. I know it may never happen but I wouldn’t mind seeing a tv movie reunion on CBS, or Paramount+, of this “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”. I still would like to know who sang the theme song. I’ve had it in my head for days.

I like this show better than the new one and the Pitt-Jolie movie. It’s a shame it only lasted half a season.
