Brain swapping might be incredibly strong, like you could: use the bodies of ssd people to "revive" gibbed people or having a clone on storage for that purpose, swapping bodies with a comand member or sec as antag, trolling or be actual crew as nukie.
@@4dmost991 Yeah! Also, if you put someone's brain into a syndicate member's body, syndicate turrets don't attack!

@@Kjackhammer I don't think any other fork has surgery, at least not like we do. It does use the RMC surgery as a base though.
@Niffy3665 haven't played rmc enough to learn anything about surgery yet. Might have to check out this server though!

Arcadis has somewhat this surgery but prob slightly different i think. Dont know which place eris grab that surgery.

Edit: I was somewhat wrong. Mb. I'll leave the comment up but yeah I was wrong. This was coded by Darkrell, but some of it came from RMC Also, side note. This was hand coded by 1 guy in starlight. He didn't (to my knowledge) use any external code. He also gave regular updates in the discord to show. Im only saying this because someone on reddit said he just copied the code.
This is RMC's surgery with stuff added onto it, this is not from scratch, unless they're speaking of what was added on, which even then heavily relies on the RMC system
@@quietwhisper Yes, it’s based on RMC. We had a bit of miscommunication. When I was asked to create the surgery last week, I shared your PR with the surgery in the chat and said I would do it. There’s a comment in the code stating that it’s based on your build. Nifty3665 just missed that message.

(Sorry Niffy) Oh also Dark, if you have questions about what the plans are for newmed feel free to just send me a message. The good news about using RMC surgery is that any custom operations you add should be pretty easy to port to newmed (just a week away) or they might just work out of the box. Either way I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding future plans for medical stuff to save you guys the headache from merge-conflicts if you decide on merging upstream medical down the road.
@@jezithyr8911 I reacted as soon as I saw it. I literally based it on the RMC build simply because it’s referenced in Newmed. I’d suggest this port for Newmed, but honestly, it needs a lot of refactoring. There’s too much logic in the view and a serious overload of events.
