This channel walks you through China, allowing you to explore its major tourist destinations through the lens of my mobile phone. During my two-year stay in China, the incredible bullet train network tempted me to embark on weekend adventures, conveniently taking me to every corner of the country. I captured what I witnessed and experienced in major cities and tourist spots using my phone. This channel aims to share the recordings with you. I have preserved the authentic street sounds, without adding any background music or distracting narration or scripts, so that viewers can truly immerse themselves in the walking experience. Enjoy!
Zhangjiajie, Yuanjiajie scenic area - where the move AVATAR was filmed
The Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, located in Zhangjiajie Park, is said to derive its name from the Later Tang Dynasty. After the failed uprising led by Huang Chao, the court issued proclamations and sought to capture the rebel forces in order to thoroughly suppress them. Among Huang Chao's subordinates was a general surnamed Yuan, who, in order to evade capture, sought refuge in the remote and secluded mountains of Qingyan Mountain. He settled there, cultivating the land and growing crops, and named the place after his own surname, calling it "Yuanjiajie."
