This channel is used to support students in my courses at the Purdue Polytechnic Institute New Albany. If you like what you hear, apply to study with us! polytechnic.purdue.edu/new-albany/admissions
I need a well detailed course on this Mechatronics just got admitted to study it
thanks for the help sir You will get the recognition you deserve 🎉
Do industrial automated systems with let's say PLCs count as mechatronics?
A PLC can be part of a mechatronic system, but is not a mechatronic system in and of itself.
What? You use the basic stamp exclusively?
No, I switched to Arduino for the course years ago.
Complicated examples is not a definition!
What book is?
'Applied Strength of Materials, 5th ed.' by Mott
Is there full playlist sir not able to find help
Keep practicing 😊
About 34:10 through 35:10 is wrong because I was supposed to compute the cross product of the angular acceleration and the position vector from K to H. My confusion was due to the fact that I thought I was supposed to write the unit vector from K to H, computing the cosine and sine values. By that point in my solution, I had computed the cross product, which is suggested by the fact that the unit 'k' vector no longer appeared beside the angular acceleration. However, there were small errors in my written solution, and my current results are: Angular acceleration of HK = -1.1512 rad/s^2; Linear acceleration of 'H' = -484.92 m/s^2.
I believe that it was supposed to be 30 to the sixth power for the modulus
Oops! The FBD was wrong. I forgot to include weight. The correct answer is about 41 degrees.
What is the difference between the efficiency of the Idealize Otto cycle vs the Actual Otto cycle? Is the Iealize Work done larger than the Actual Work Done?
Yes. The idealized cycle produces more work than a real cycle because many irreversibilities are neglected in the ideal cycle.
Links please. I am an Automation Technician/Mecatronic Resident Maintenance Tech and I am always looking to build my skill sets
I'm not sure what links you want. However, I'm sorry, I just use UA-cam as a reliable way to serve videos to students in courses I teach for the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.
thanks for this nice lecture.
Hi what textbook did you use for you old MET 220 videos.
Hi what textbook did you use for you old MET 220 videos.
The best explanation I found of the Ericsson cycle. Congratulations!
Thank you. I hope it helps!

Thank you sir❤

that awkwardness from 1:30 - 1:40 🤣
Oops, I meant to edit that out😂. Thanks for finding it. I will fix it and reupload 😅
Thank you professer, I’m korean mechanical engineering student. Your lecture is so helpful. Thank you.
Good content 👍
how to understand "The maximum speedometer" in 18:51? In a system, I don't know how to measure the "maximum speedometer".
Controllers do not usually work with actual units. For example, if you are measuring the level in a tank, it would be measured in feet or meters (height). But there is an obvious maximum level and minimum level in the tank. Those would likely be set to correspond to 100% (full) and 0% (empty). The controller only measures in percentage (%) regardless of what is being controlled. When there is no obvious maximum, such as the car's speed, one must be selected to correspond to 100% on the controller. Zero speed logically corresponds to 0%, but this is also the decision of the controls engineer, because negative speeds may also be desirable, and therefore 0% as sensed by the controller may need to be some reverse speed.
@@damonsisk4270 Thank you for providing me with answers to my questions.
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad the information may help you!
Can you please give us the title of the book ?
Engineering Mechanics Statics 12th edition, R.C.Hibbeler
@@damonsisk4270 thank you

thank you sir

You should put a descriptive title in the top or in the description
Thank you, but I don't really post these for a wide audience. They are just for my students in the various courses I teach. From my perspective UA-cam is just a place that will serve my videos to my students, reliably and free.
Thank you SO MUCH for he whole walkthrough. I am currently failing my class and we have a second chance to bump our grade on the upcoming midterm. Understanding the step by step and the formulas that can be used to find the answers is amazing. Thank you! will continue to look at the next videos!
I'm very glad you found the information useful! If you want to find example problems, search for 'MET 320 9' on my channel. This will find all the videos from chapter 9 of the textbook I use for my course, number MET 320. That chapter is all about gas power cycles, and I always cover the ideal Otto, Diesel, Sterling, Brayton (with regeneration), Ericsson, and Jet Engine cycles, as well as isentropic efficiency. Best of luck in your class!
Thank you so much for this
Where can the spreadsheet be accessed?
I added two links in the video description, the first for the paper where I found the piece-wise equations and the second is the spreadsheet. Enjoy!
So E=MC2
why did youtube recommend me this.. this guys writing enchantment table
I have no idea why UA-cam would recommend my videos to anyone. My channel primarily consists of videos to help my students with their homework/classwork. UA-cam to me is just a free service to serve videos to my students.
alright thanks buddy
Thank you so much
Your E stop has to be first in your circuit
Thank you for your comment! An Emergency Stop is a different button than a stop button. It is poor practice to wire any emergency stop switches to the PLC inputs, however, stop buttons can be wired to PLC inputs.
Man I am SO GLAD I found your channel. I am absolutely devouring these lessons ♡
I'm glad you enjoy them and hope they help with whatever projects you work on! My channel is just basically a place to put videos, so that students in my courses can learn and review information. If you ever want to know more about the courses I teach, please feel free to ask.

Yes, sorry. I made these in haste during COVID times.
Sir I need your advise for my case, I graduate with Mechatronic Engineering but working in sale and marketing field for 5 yrs.I don't have any exp and nearly forget every things I learn at uni.How can I get back to track for engineer career very quick.Which needed to learn first to land a job and to admission for master degree
I'm sorry, I don't know. Your English sounds like you are not in the USA, and that is the only market with which I'm familiar. Best of luck to you though!
I always wanted to tell Pearson they have to refund me 10$ every time I found a dang mistake in one of my textbooks! I really appreciate your sharing this work with us ♡
Just think if we could be reimbursed for bugs in software!

I like that, Fix more and keep thing out of the land fill.😇😇😇
Thank you :)
I have a mackie sr24-4 with 2 flashing Light im hoping this fixes it
Please post/respond on whether this fix worked for you, or if you find something else that helps. It will be interesting to see how many models can be repaired by this method.
very cool, please create a video to explain how it works
This is just a prototype for one of the courses I teach. The real thing will be much better. There are straight shafts within the tubes that turn the 'T' corners via bevel/miter gears.
Holy Sheepshit. It worked. Thanks, man.
Mine was an ONYX 800r. They all use the same power supply.
@@curtwells4905 Glad it worked for you, and thank you for the information!
