We konyak have different kind of story and floktale about our Origin , but there one peculiar folktales in my village which talk about the great flood, I don't whether it's just a folktales or was a fact story. There is one mountain which is believed to be untouched by the great flood. It's a very long story ..

Be it the Kukis nagas tangkhuls and other tribals belongs to Mongolian race had migrated from the same place and settled down in the northeastern part of Indian Continent. Later on, outsider Britisher came and without proper surveying the indigenous tribals without consultation the indigenous tribals falsely demarcated the boundary as India and Burma, which led to the divisions of all the indigenous people living in the hills regions in India Burma and Bangladesh. Due to false demarcated boundaries today modern genx indigenous tribals are facing political boundaries crisis that seperates them of same tribes and families some into India Bangladesh and Burma making them different nationalities. This indigenous people were sovereign under self-ruled living independently ever since time immemorial. Thats why today, many indigenous tribals emerges as political armed insurgencies fighting for a separate nations. Now some idiots may start calling Konyaks belongs to Burmese origin after watching this video.
