Have you tried the "single" focus function in manual mode. I was having the same issue with a lot of hunting but switched it to single focus and it works just fine! let me know if it works or not and I will probably make a video on this

@@vgplay4850 I haven't seen too many black mist filters that have gotten me too excited. But I am happy to venture out and test them out. I'll do some research and try it out! stick around

I don’t know, (V)ND is almost a must if you want to follow 180 degrees shutter rule. But black mist? I believe you have to be _very_ intentional with black mist, it is needed maybe in 5-10% of shoots, otherwise you just end up with ugly looking blooms and low contrast image, why would you want this? I’m also not sure about 1/4, 1/8 should be more universal IMO

@@victor.ivanov This! I am not a fan of the black mist filters. I can't see any reason I would ever use them? I have seen some folks use them at night with neon lights that looks ok but still not my style. thanks for watching!

It does take some getting used to but once you do it’s super easy to use to! Don’t give up too soon! Haha

Right!?! It’s mind blowing. No enhancing at all!! This is literally flip it on (low light mode) and start shooting. It’s mind blowing how clean it is.

Nope! Straight out of the camera and in “normal” picture mode. Just turn it on low light and go.

I agree!! I prefer canon’s color science of Sony but this is a great camera for those that are not too picky about color science. Great for those that travel and vlog. Thanks for watching and commenting!!

THey changed the Color Science a few years ago, it´s not like the older camera, and if you shoot in raw doesn´t matter that much.

I use the K&F variable ND filters. It only comes with two but up to nine stops so plenty of versatility. Also, they fit in the hard case the camera goes in so it’s win win. There is a link in this video if you’re interest

I use Lightroom for photo editing and Adobe Premier Pro for video editing. If you have a Mac computer, it comes with iMovie which is perfect for beginners. this camera is also great for beginners. It is one of the best cameras I have ever owned. Lightroom and Premier Pro have a learning curve but with some practice it gets easier. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

Great question! I will do a video on this specifically but will also answer now. This camera has a left to right, right to left or custom setting built into it. No need to move the camera yourself. Set it and forget it. Thanks for watching!

Also, it took 10 min to film. You can adjust the time to longer or shorter as well as frame rates. I will make a video shortly on this subject to really get into the weeds

@@CambodiaExpatsOnline Hey! Great question...With the Timelapse, I did adjust the frame rate to 1 second. That allows the "streakiness" of the cars going by. I apologize for not adding this in the video, I am still learning this UA-cam thing. Ad for the vlogging portion, it was all 4k, 24fps @ 1/50 shutter speed. thanks for watching!

@@thebackyardtourist214 Thanks! I asked, because I have the Pocket 2, and I don't get that "streakiness" on auto, just like you said. And I had to use an ND filter to allow it to stay open for longer. I wish auto could sorry that out, as it looks silly without the streaks!
