My favorite anime is Naruto and I've seen it all. The idea of one person going in blind and the other having seen it all is one of my favorite formats, so I'll be checking out more. Honestly I'm baffled y'all don't have more subs. Spoilers for the manga . . . . . This was such a cathartic listen. I just finished the manga a month or so ago and also thought it had an amazing ending. It is probably my favorite ending coupled with my new favorite protagonist and antagonist, which is... well... an absurd amount of praise for something I started on a whim from a Gigguk recommendation. I feel like I was the only one who did not suspect the Winged Lion to be the antagonist for quite a while, and I am glad the reveal could feel special because of that. Phenomenal series.

"Fionna and Cake" is really interesting example, how we should make a spin-off series. But... The finale of it was really confusing and was a weakest part of it. Most of good was from Fionna and Cake's part. And, I know about a lot of inconsistencies, like beings from the universes they have visited decide to stay with them, or how the show handeling Scarab and Lich. Will be great if Lich start a havoc in Fionna-world, and Scarab will have a redemption arc and he will help Fionna save her world. And my biggest critisism is how Simon's arc was handled. I got what Betty trying to teach him, but telling him, that he is always in a wrong and don't have a regrets from her immoral actions covered by "we're both in a fault" (And Simon somehow forgets about his experience through his journey), was confusing and kinda inconsistent for their characters. And it was also weird why Simon just back to his start point without any positive resolutions (and with a therapist). For example, there's no Finn and, especially, Marceline in a finale. It's was wrong, because it's making them like a selfish persons, who doesn't care about their depressed friend. For Simon's story will be better if "Casper and Nova" retells Simon and Betty's actual story from Original "Adventure Time", their good and bad deeds, and why Simon's life is really important part in the developing of the Land of OOO and what kinda sacrifices Betty made to save him. And also Simon should be the one, who said that he doesn't have any regrets, because Betty's "I have no regrets" for me looks like a gaslighting, when previously she always mentioning "WE". Like, "WE have our choices and WE could've done a better ones". Like, why she's became so selfish and never asking Simon how is he in OOO and why he have a depression? Fionna and Cake were interesting by their own. They are not like themselves from Ice King's (and Prismo's) fanfics. Because i always skips their stories from OG series. They were just "Finn and Jake's girl copies", but now they are nothing like them. And it was great. Spin-off could've been better, if not this weird finale. And i have strange feelings that second season will not be good in quality like season one. How do you think about season two's quality?
