I’m not to good at rigging so I can’t help you there. However if you’re trying to animate people, I know that there are some good addons out there that can make rigging and animating people much easier.

Not bad for a first doughnut! I just started doing blender and 3d stuff about 10 months ago so I know how you feel. It can be very challenging and confusing sometimes but with enough time and practice, I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it. For the TV, I would start with a cube and scale it to the size and shape you want, assuming you want a square or rectangular shaped TV. Then I’d start subdividing it and adding more detail. Once you’ve got all the modeling done, you can start working on the textures and shaders and all that fun stuff. There are many ways you can create the textures, but an easy way I like to do it is to take a picture of something and wrap it around the model using the node wrangler addon. There are many tutorials out there on how to do that and I know the node thing can be a bit confusing sometimes but just have patience and you’ll figure it out. Hopefully this helps.
