Yeah unfortunately the beacon was heavily altered during the lifecycle of the game due to poor decisions made by the devs. Many spots can still be used, it just takes more coordination for the McKay specific spots now :(

Yes! I just use the mouse sens calculator usually as it has presets for the Jedi coefficient :)

Honestly I need to private this because these settings are out of date, I would just erase what is in the config and let the game reload the settings. Hope this helps

Not really. Uniform soldier aiming is an on/off toggle. And when off, coefficient is grayed out. Meaning they’re related. Coefficient is the actual value. Uniform soldier aiming is whether we’re applying the coefficient or not.

nvm shit was buggy asf and after i tweaked everything so the game isnt buggy i only got like a 10fps boost, which is mostly because of the shading quality, it boost the fps the most but breaks the game.

no. but finding fovs that you play comfortably on is a good idea. keep in mind that some games use vertical FOV (like BF) and other games use horizontal FOV (like COD, OW, etc) so 90 on BF will be more like 120 on COD.

@@KingDowning and then how to calculate your dpi? I use the following formula 360°/ hfov(for example 360°/90 =4) and then multiply 4 by the number of horizontal pixels on the monitor i.e. 1920*4=7680 and divide this number by the inches that I make for 360° (34cm/2.54=13.39) and then 7680/13.39=574 dpi

@@nokatomoru Just use whatever DPI you want and use mouse sens to find a good sens for you. The math is only for the coefficient

yes. instead of selecting NA from the regions, you can choose Asia. Or if there is nothing on Asia, leave all options unchecked and it will show you the servers from every region, and then you can organize it by ping and go from there.

It seems shader qual acts differently on different builds. Try increasing the value until you no longer see negative effects :)

What build are you on?

I've seen a few people have issues with it not working its usually because their pc isn't gonna gain regardless but the proof is there for anyone to see

68 for vertical and 121 for horizontal are the proper values :)

ItsHabs made the razor macro, he has not adapted it for any other software at this time. I'd shoot him a DM on twitter or Twitch. If I had more time I would make one myself for Logitech products, but I don't even have GHub on my computer atm.

I'm currently using Pulsar's software. Started making a macro but quickly hit the key action limit before I could finish the 2nd command 😞. I'll just have to pray that crashing goes back to being rare or just not bother doing it at all

@@JawnTheZoz sad dilemma honestly. If I were you, i would just do the "lighttile" command, and then maybe even the thread commands since you can type "thread" and quicly find all 4, also "raytrace" and "motion" quickly trigger the commands with those keywords. thats kinda what ive been doing and not worrying too much about the rest. im sure ill memorize the rest over time though....

Yes. I am currently using 68, but plan on doing more testing on 121. Wanted to get a video out on it a while back, but 2042 still has bugged mouse input so it was impossible to really tell a difference. Now that COD is out, I've been able to test more. I still really like both 68, and 121, and would recommend trying them out if you haven't already.

@@KingDowning hey, no problem man, I've been playing COD for a long time but really just recently "discovered" what Monitor coefficient is for and how it works. Led me down a rabbit hole, it's not a huge deal but I wish more content creators would talk about it.

Try increasing shader value 1 at a time until the effect goes away.

The original idea behind the current Jedi's Trick implementation was that it does horizontal and vertical at the same time. Since you are playing with your entire monitor on at all times, I would take it that it is best to calculate this value based off of 100% of your monitor.

I am earnestly working on a Part 2 focused purely on Coefficient. This setting is huge, and I also would love to see future tech making this easier to understand and use for the casual gamer.
