how i got into cornell - what i did in high school, testing, college search, etc.
i accidentally deleted this video at 1.6K views and i almost cried over it!!! i filmed this last august so there was no pandemic and i hadn't started my second year of college yet (which i have now finished). i was also less experienced in filming and making videos so please forgive any awkwardness.

What are the main differences between majoring in Biology in CALS or the College of Arts and Sciences? Are the requirements or the courses different?
the courses and requirements are the same for the biology major itself in both colleges. the only difference is whether you want to do the A&S college requirements (which I talked about in the video) or the CALS college requirements (which are different and can be found on the CALS website).
I can totally relate about not being pre med lol. Get that away from meeee. I also like art. Stay safe! What kind of research have you done if I may ask?
Would ecology and evolutionary biology be the best concentration to follow if you want to do research in the Cornell lab of ornithology? Also I love you and your videos they are really helpful Keep doing what you're doing!
there are definitely opportunities to do research at the lab of ornithology for EEB students. there is a lot of overlap between EEB and biodiversity and systematics, so I'd recommend looking into that concentration too. there is also an animal physiology concentration (and an animal science major in CALS), so depending on what specifically you want to study, that one might interest you as well. thank you so much for watching!
