Someone please tell me what Cafe Del Mar is? I was in a brisbane vinnies op shop browsing when they played this mixtape from the mysterious bruno and i had to stop my browsing to ask what was playing (something I have never done in a shop). They told me it was a mysterious burned cd they pulled from their music shelfs as they needed new music. They played it all the time because they loved it so much. She took a photo of it for me and today I will be listening to as many of these brilliant mixes as possible

I put this on loop for hours and it takes me back to such an incredible time in my life. I literally savor every note, reminiscing about that amazing time in a magical part of life, all of life was new again, there was an amazing sense of adventure, I felt so free. This song will never, ever, ever get old or cease to affect me deeply

I was about 15 and was lucky enough to be introduced to this album. This kind of music mixed together with the social vibe at the time - this was truly special even though I only realized it years later. Back in 1995 in Portugal there was barely any internet: people who were listening to this were among the top clients in the top record shops. There was a mystique in that: following the music label that would provide the coolest tunes. This was definitely one of the tracks.
