The idea that people build a WHOLE theological framework on a few verses taken out of context and reinterpreted to fit their views is sadly the way most cults are created. What does a Calvinist do with John 3:16-17? 2 Peter 3:9? 1 Tim 2:4? Respectfully, I once attempted to 'do evangelism' with a Calvinist and upon coming upon somemwho appeared interested in hearing our message, he turned to me and told me "whatever you say, don't tell God loves him because he may not be 'elect' and we shouldn't give him false hope!!". I walked away and never went him again! When you start with the premise that God DOES NOT love everyone in the wolrd and MADE A WAY for them to be saved, you've lost the plot!

Starting at around 13:00 "The way they partook of the Lord's supper then in the 1st century setting is not exactly the same as today. It seems like there was a lot more food there. There may have been a lot of bread and a lot of the fruit of the vine or there may have been some other foods that they partook of in a non Lord's supper setting. There were a lot of foods..." Are you saying we can, or should, come together as a church to share not just in the Lord's supper but also a common supper? Any clarification would be appreciated.

I needed to hear this. A little overwhelming right now because I am really working on a big attitude problem already but I believe this will help with that and that will help with this. Thank you, Father for preachers like Kris.

Oh man what a brilliant sermon! I have been living this and miserable until last week when the reality of this message hit home. No more being in despair. I have hope. I know I can overcome my sin because God wants me to and helps me. I am explaining this all wrong, but I am living the joyous message of Kris' sermon.

I've never been anointed with the Holy Spirit! What have I done that prevented this? I thought we were supposed to receive the Holy Ghost when we got baptized!!??
