The official UA-cam channel of Nature FIRST. Nature FIRST is a project bringing together 12 global partners to limit the decline of biodiversity, both in Europe and worldwide. To achieve this, it develops predictive, proactive and preventative capabilities based on forensic intelligence and remote sensing technologies.
Nature FIRST is focused on four European regions - Carpathians, Danube Delta, Stara Planina mountain, Ancares-Courel - and monitors such species as the bear, wolf, lynx, sturgeon and others.
The partners of the project are 3EDATA INGENIERIA AMBIENTAL SL, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Danube Delta National Institute for Research and Development, DotSpace, Semantic Web Company (SWC), Sensing Clues (coordinator), Staffordshire University, Sustainable Scale-up Foundation, Wageningen University & Research, Wildlife Forensic Academy and WWF. Nature FIRST is funded by Horizon Europe, the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation.

Wildlife Forensic Toolkit Competition: Winner Announcement
Nature FIRST has hosted an innovative Wildlife Forensic Toolkit Competition. Forensics university students were invited to design a comprehensive toolkit tailored for gathering evidence at human-wildlife crime scenes. By fostering creativity and collaboration, this competition aims to develop practical tools that can aid first responders in the field.
