Urodzilem sie w Gdyni i mieszkalem tam 33 lata zanim wyjechalem stamtad 43 lata temu. Jednak mimo wielu zmian to po 10 minutach ogladania wydaje mi sie jak by ten czas zlecial w jeden rok. Gdynia nie jest miastem turystycznym. Gdynia jest miastem przemyslowo robotniczym z duza doza byznesu finansowego. Po atrakcje turystyczne to do Sopotu i Gdanska.

Gdy zlikwidowano większość miejsc postojowych w śródmieściu oraz drastycznie podniesiono opłaty za parkowanie w Gdyni mieszkańcy dzielnic mieszkaniowych zaprzestali przyjeżdżać do śródmieścia . Przez to Gdynia stała się miastem wymarłym co wyraźnie widać na powyższym filmie ➖

I've lived here since I was born and I love this place. City is quite modern and calm at the same time. You can visit other places for a while, for example Gdańsk, but everyday life is nice in Gdynia.

I thought Gdynia has an old city,like Gdansk,because if you google Gdynia old town it comes up so many pictures of an old town, but when you have been to GDANSK you realize that every photo is from Gdansk old town!!! Gdynia is just a modern suburb,nothing worth seeing if you only are interested in old towns! Sopot was also a disapointment but they have a beach so if you want to swim you can spend a day there. Gdansk is very small, one long street with a beautiful open square and then of course Mariacka street and some old beautiful churches. I recommend one whole day in Gdansk, IF you go there just because of the old town,like me.
