Genetics are obviously a factor. Genetics can make it easier to gain weight and be skinny, and make it harder to gain weight and stop being scrawny. But at the end of the day that’s an excuse, just because it’s harder to achieve your ideal physique doesn’t mean you can’t do it. If you work out 4-5 times a week, and count your calories and pay attention to what you’re eating, you absolutely will see results. It just takes consistency, and you have to make the choice to be consistent.

I'm not necessarily fat, but I can't seem to shed that last bit of weight to reach my goal. Mostly because I have my own personal issues to overcome, like stress eating and having so much to worry about. Sometimes I hate cooking, no matter how I prepare the food, it never tastes as good as the food I grab when I wake up late at night, like Nutella, which is like 200 calories for 30 grams 😂.
