i did this today.. still works perfect as of 7.1. im on dynamis so i had the road to 90 or 80 buff as well and i went from 70-80 in 25 minutes. thank you

Took me 36:06 - i am a noob, so others will probably be faster. Used shadowsrose4978's method listed in this comment section :) (flying sardine, tag, mob eat, run)

You can do this from level 1 to 80 as well, and you don't need anything other than the starting gear and spell. Kite one leach into the Clionid. After it eats it you will gain enough exp to reach at least lvl 10. At level 10 you have Sleep. Just Sleep the leaches, to tag them, then use Water Cannon to aggro the Clionids to the first leach, and kite it around to the next one. You can do max 3 at a time. Always kite the Clionid to the mobs in order of Sleep casts, so they don't break. After it has the 3 stack buff just run to de-aggro. Run around the area and repeat the process. Recommended you set your Home to Ordo Cups. Takes around 90 to 120 minutes to reach 80, depending on how fast you go.

I just learned about this method today. Currently level 76. I've done everything you've done so far, except for the Ram's Voice at the end. Gonna try this out so I'm not Sprint-running for my life after 3 kills.

Remember to Attune DPS or Tank before doing this.

i did this from 60-80, but you could probably do 50-80. i just stayed far from them and didnt try kill them after

This method is goated for solo. I did this from 63-80 and it took ~90 minutes. Even including the deaths due to bad kiting.

what spells did u use?

Location: Tempest. Take the Ondo Cups crystal and it's near (X:29, Y:6)

You only need one spell Flying Sardine. Tag and run The flower squids will eat then drop agro after you get far enough away from spawn. By then you have tagged and agroed another 4-5 mobs

Surprisingly this isnt much faster than our 6dps althought it is faster, like 20 sec? I thought it would be 6:30 We have done a bunch of 710 715 with 6dps 1 drk and sch... Our rotation is a bit effy too, we couldve hit 7:00 probably?

I've seen some bad HUD layouts, but this one is just straight up cursed. Everything is miss-aligned, there's unnecessary padding all around the screen, scaling is extremely inconsistent, no WXHBs or even RTLT/LTRT bars, overlapping elements, camera tilt is set to 0 so you can barely see anything in front of you, the minimap is at the original position, smaller than normal, AND zoomed way out. Can't argue with results, but you could make your life/experience so much easier/better by putting a bit of love on that layout.

...I feel concerned that I was shown this video of 1 SCH / 7 DPS clearing EX5, and was more impressed by the fact that you're on controller than the clear. Good controller players always blow me away. But I've always felt this fight, for an EX, did NOT do much damage.

Oh hey, I remember you healing a 1t1h party finder not too long ago! Really impressive that you got through it with 7 dps! :o Do you think maybe there's a chance to clear with 8 dps with some summoners/dancers/red mages (since they have some healing skills)?

I never liked the design of this boss. Of course I also didn't like some PF healers. Feels great dying to sweeping immolation when you did it mechanically correct, and that's with 2 healers! I have 106 totems, washed my hands of it.

i wish i wasnt such a burnout and i could do super intense stuff like this..i just cant focus with all this stuff going on. I literally have to take one fight at a time. I cannot go back to a hard fight and remember the mechanics anyways this was extremely insane and impressive..nice job...any particular reason you are not using the x hotbar?
