Just got a win with this 😂 Had to get a nice looking proxy for Ad nas. It ended up being like a 6$ deck

Glorious protecter doesn't work with restoration angel, right? Because of the non-angel clause on them.

I just played against this deck and my friend was popping off quick. Only reason he didn’t win is because someone stole his biggest creature and swung it at him (over 20 commender damage) I’m stoked to check out some of these other budget brews keep up the lords work.

I think it looks great! I need to learn more of this type of editing, I think!

I like how you prioritize makong tokens and not boosting Bess. I like my Bess but I feel like it's too dependent on the commander so to make a synergistic deck that doesn't need Bess is a very fine idea.

Your decks always look far stronger than they should at such a low budget. It's great. Could you brew Beast tribal next (or eventually)? The commanders who care about beasts are on the wrong colors (for me at least) and most legendary Beasts don't have tribal synergies.

Putting in a lot of clone creatures is a good idea, they make great targets for reanimate spells and it helped me a lot going against a Shoeldred deck, copying it basically stopped me from losing life from drawing cards and also counteracted their own life gain.

Man, I love your videos. Of course it's nice to build powerhouses of decks with tricky combos to win without anyone being able to interfere or just dominate the board with expensive ($) cards. But this - your videos - is what EDH is all about for me. Having fun, building decks that are unique and memorable but not broken and noninteractable. Great work, keep it up 😁 Some fun suggestions for commanders that offer a wide variety of possible deck strategies: Yenna, Redtooth Regent Haktos, the Unscarred Zada, Hedron Grinder Alaundo the Seer Arjun, the Shifting Flame Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder Araumi of the Dead Tide Yurlok of Scorch Thrash Mr. Foxglove

I had a really similar Anim Pakal deck that I built and it was awesome!!! sadly I lost it and I never did a decklist... but this video made me wanna make it again 😁 thank you! the thing I could add to the deck would be some more ways to protect the commander. starting again from 0 counters is really painful and most good evasion is kind of expensive sadly, anything that makes anim pakal phase out is godly on this deck

Nice video. Having a spell with double colorless in its cost and only 7 cards in the deck that produce colorless is a tough sell for me though 😅

As soon as they were spoiled I designed a Vhal + Cultist of the Absolute deck intended on winning as fast as possible, maybe even for duel commander. Never got it out of paper since it was a one-trick pony and would get old fast, but it was a nice concept. This takes it one step further, think I'm gonna revisit it

I'd love to see your take on Haktos the Unscarred. I built it filled with anthem effects, Exalted and a few double strike creatures to enjoy the boost as well. Didn't stop at a budget but it's not an expensive deck

Hi! Enjoyed the video, crab was fun. As for my deck request, it would be fun to see what you can come up with for the cheapest commander for each two-colour identity. To start with, the cheapest in Golgari - my favourite - is that storied and world-renowned EDH staple Bortuk Bonerattle! ... Okay, me neither, but that's part of the fun - how can you make a commander available to buy for four cents, if not mega-viable, then at least interesting to pilot? Hope you get some mileage out of this =]

Ravenous Ventmaw is a personal favorite. Combine the 6 mana it makes on attack (also making them a 6/6) and aggravated assault you can very quickly cause infinite combat phases

I made a similar budget deck a couple years ago so love to see the big crab getting love! The one thing I didn’t get with your list though is why the defender artifacts/enchantments?
