Historic November Tornado Outbreak | November 3rd-4th, 2024
Yep, this is definitely one weird storm! I woke up to the NWS announcing an enhanced risk for severe weather on November 3rd and 4th, along with many widespread tornado reports as the aftermath. With the coming storm, people were told to prepare their emergency supplies and have shelter in place.
Don't attempt going outdoors in severe weather unless you know what you're doing!
Note: I was NOT injured or in any real danger in the filming of this video. Sure, I was terrified, but that's all part of the experience!
Well, please consider subscribing! I'll have many new videos on storms, 3D printing, electronics, and engineering! Subscribe to help me in the long run!

FIX Your Ender 3 V3 SE X-Axis Calibration Part
Переглядів 2122 місяці тому
No joke when I am saying this, but this is quite literally the ONLY video on UA-cam on how to replace the X-Calibration part on an Ender 3 V3 SE/KE. I hope you find this video useful, and it helps you fix your problems! If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to ask, and I'll respond! Remember, I am NOT a professional, so not everything you see in this video is going to be expert ...
Mini 2T22 Noon Test!
Переглядів 51 тис.3 місяці тому
Following along with the first video showing my 2T22, I figured an outdoor noon test was a good start for another quick video, and here's the results! I am pretty pleased with the finished product, and I hope you like it! This is really just a trial video to show how loud my siren is outdoors from near and far. If you want to build your own, find my Tinkercad Project, search for "The 3D Enginee...
Showcasing and Testing My Mini 2T22 Tornado Siren!
Переглядів 6 тис.3 місяці тому
This summer, I've decided to 3D print, build, and test my miniature 2T22 tornado siren! This project took me at least a good 3 months to get it to the way it is now. Soon, I will have a full Google Doc showing how you can build your own mini 2T22 with step-by-step instructions! You can also just wing the design by downloading all the 3D files from my Tinkercad project. To find my Tinkercad proj...
Are you windturbineMD?
Yeah, I am! This is my channel!
@milespeterson5049authentic, and this is the actual CF channel
I live in Moore and we had a tornado warning at 1:20-1:30AM i was shook and my indestructible dad was chilling in the chair watching News 9 (KWTV) the terrifying ambience of Moore had reminded me of what people heard during their last moments...
Wait, that means kids are louder…
wow!!! that’s scary. i hope everything is alright and nothing serious happened!! miss you guys! stay safe.
Hi pooks :3 are you also wanting to throw Mother Nature into the Andromeda Galaxy because of the danger she put my best friend in?
i am gonna throw mother nature to the Andromeda Galaxy because of the tornadoes she sent your way :D
Dang
It sounds like a 2t22 and a 3t22 mixed together
That's interesting! A 2T22 and 3T22 are the same siren, except that the 3T22 has dampers to create a hi-lo signal and other signals too. I did use a DC motor for this one, so that could definitely play a role in its sound qualities.
44K VIEWS?!? WHAT?! .. I'm so proud of you 🥹🥹🥹
Woah! I didn't pay attention! It's only been like 2 months!!!
@milespeterson5049 POOKIE WHAT DID YOU PUT IN DA VIDEO FOR ALL OF THESE PEOPLE TO BE SUMMONED?!? 👁️👄👁️
@@YourLocalAmericanIguess A lot of people (including me) are really into this kind of stuff. I guess this video just got out there more!
@milespeterson5049 nice! Seriously though, you're also about to hit 300 subscribers.. I FEEL LIKE A PROUD MOTHER 😭😭😭😭😭
Nice SD 10 back there. Does it work?
Yes, it's fully functional! I may make a video about that little one, because it's sure louder than it looks! I'll probably make a video about it in the future!
nice 2t22 man amazing how loud a little siren can be
Do you have the 3d plans for this???
Of course! The models are available to download for free on Tinkercad. You can find them all here! www.tinkercad.com/things/00hqmroxxCD-federal-signal-2t22-siren-3d-printable
CONGRATS ON 212 SUBS!!!
That is very cool. Great job on the siren & the controller!
Thank you! It's really such an honor to have a popular UA-camr as a subscriber! I watch your videos!
@@milespeterson5049 Thanks!

Hey man! been a viewer since your siren vid, glad to see another ender 3 user! cool!
😮😮😮😮😮 😍
I'm laughing so hard right now because I watched a bit of this video a few nights ago and when I clicked on it again the first thing I heard was "🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨" In all seriousness, that sounds amazing! If I didn't have any context I would have thought that was a real tornado siren! Glad to know my friend is practically a genius! :D
Thank you so much! You've just made my day with this comment! 😄
@@milespeterson5049 don't worry about it! I wanna support my friend so that's what I'mma do :D
Too bad he’s not selling stuff right now, I’d buy one right now.
Yeah, I'm probably not going to sell. However, if you have a 3D printer, and you own some spare filament, I recommend you print your own!
Wow that's the best sounding mini XT22 I've heard! Love that low 10/12 sound.
Thanks so much!!! It's people like you that just make my day. 😄
@@milespeterson5049 you're welcome, got any more plans for mini sirens?
@That_2_guy2T Yes! I'm currently trying to make a miniature STL-10 siren. Now, it's not meant to be loud, but it will have authentic sound. I'll probably post a video about that too, and my SD-10 if I ever get time. Also, stay tuned for my soon-to-come custom siren with a full-fledged 9-INCH ROTOR!
awesome video!!!
Thank you!!
@@milespeterson5049anytime!!!:)
I was just about to make my new 3t22 bee kind of colour😭
If you have black and yellow filament available, I'd recommend it. However, most XT22's use just yellow for the horns.
@@milespeterson5049You should call the 2t22 the beet22😅
THIS IS AWESOME!!! Nice job on that mini!!!
Thank you!!!

Did you warn you neighbors about this thing?
Well, in my town, they test their sirens every Wednesday at noon, so if my neighbors heard a siren, they shouldn't worry.
Bro this is sooo cool
this thing is sick! will you ever release the files for people to print themselves?
The files are free and available to download on Tinkercad! Some general instructions are also provided, so make sure to look at the notes! You can find it here! www.tinkercad.com/things/00hqmroxxCD-federal-signal-2t22-siren-3d-printable
Hey miles! -Epperson Kids
Hello!
@@milespeterson5049 HI
Cool 2T22
Thanks! If you want to build your own, the link for the parts is in my pinned comment!
fast winds up and down loke aca hurricane mkii
Yep, it's partially because I used a DC motor, which have faster wind-ups and wind-downs. The real motor uses an AC brushless motor, which has longer wind-ups and downs. Stay tuned for more video releases!
mabye use a brushless motor its more accurate and will be louder but you did a good job wow!
Absolutely, I originally wanted to use a brushless motor, but most DC motors are brushed, and I didn't want to mess with any high-voltage AC stuff. Fortunately, I'm building another siren that will use an AC brushless motor, stay tuned for its release!
@@milespeterson5049 you just earned your 31st sub!! (was me)
@@siren_stuff Thank you!! More content is coming out soon, so get ready!
Man only ten likes! You deserve better. Because that thing is epic
For those who would like to 3D print one yourself, you've found the right comment! All the parts for this project are available to download for free on Tinkercad. From there, it's pretty straightforward to building your own! You can find the project here! www.tinkercad.com/things/00hqmroxxCD-federal-signal-2t22-siren-3d-printable
What about the AR Timer, and electrical components needed?
@@robloxingout2093 I had not intended to share the AR Timer's plans, but I would not mind at all now! Here is the link for the circuit schematic: www.tinkercad.com/things/klOHck80CVi-copy-of-outdoor-warning-siren-emergency-timer-owset-v2 And here's the 3D model for the timer box: www.tinkercad.com/things/8Dg6DEkJiND-outdoor-warning-siren-emergency-timer-owset-v2 Keep in mind that these are a shared link. They are pretty unmarked, so it may be hard to understand some parts of it. If you need any help at all, don't hesitate to ask me! Links needed are provided! Good luck on building your own!!!
The smile was priceless when the siren turned on lol
Very cool Miles! Please continue in this journey of engineering
