From the outset, Ashok presented himself as a charming and skilled filmmaker, even boasting about being part of the direction team for some Marathi songs. He quoted us ₹1.5 lakh for a package that included pre-wedding and wedding photography and videography, both cinematic and traditional. We trusted him and went ahead with the contract for our wedding on February 6, 2023. But this is where the problems began. Despite paying him over ₹1.9 lakh-much more than we initially agreed upon-we were met with endless delays, excuses, and unprofessional behavior. It took him a staggering 1.5 years to deliver our wedding photos and videos, which we finally received on August 12, 2024. The quality of his work? Absolutely atrocious. It looked as though it was shot on a mobile phone with no editing whatsoever-just a bunch of clips poorly stitched together. Adding to our frustration, Ashok was completely unresponsive throughout the entire process. Living abroad due to work commitments, we couldn’t visit his office in person, but we provided him with the selected versions of our raw data within a week of our wedding. Despite having completed all payments in advance, he continued to demand more money without any justification. Ashok’s claims of being one of the best in the industry are utterly false. He is unprofessional, greedy, and unreliable. His staff is equally rude and unprofessional. In the end, we had to file a police complaint just to get our content, only to find out it was of no value.
