I used to only get nitrous oxide at the dentist when I got a filling because I refuse to be frozen (needle phobic). Now I get it for everyday cleanings to prevent vertigo. At 3.5 litres of nitrous oxide and 65% oxygen, I feel incredibly relaxed. My body just goes numb and my eyes shut and are able to stay that way. I can still respond to any questions they ask. For IV’s during a surgery I need at LEAST 5 litres (50%) of gas to take the edge off. Works like a charm

thank you for addressing this! a lot people don’t understand that anecdotal evidence is not trustworthy when it comes to establishing a medical based treatment for the general population. patients get skeptical when they are told these remedies don’t work, so i appreciate this approach where if patient want to do oil pulling they can, but it does not replace flossing and brushing. and if they want to incorporate anything new into their routine they should first check with their dentist and or dental hygienist to see what is best for their specific needs.

My mf orthodontist didn't even give me an option he just put on those clear bands and now it stained n became yellow 😑I regret going to him it took him 3 appointments to put on my braces 😑

Blue is my favorite color, it always makes me feel calm and peaceful. I agree, yellow and orange can make your teeth look stained and dull.
