The Daily Life of Maasai
A glance into the daily life of a normal Maasai family not far from Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. During the 2 weeks I stayed with them, I got an insight into their daily activities and culture, which I would like to share through this video. Unlike some charity campaigns may tell you, they have a perfectly normal and good life, with a close community, the majority of time spent outdoors, good weather, great hospitality, plenty of time and lots of knowledge about the forest around them: something to be proud of! Western culture could learn a lot from this, just like Maasai/Kenyan culture could learn from Western culture. Keep in mind that there is not 'one' Maasai culture: they all have the same base and heritage, but within that there are again different clans and subgroups, traditional and 'modern' areas. This area is rather 'modern'.
Of course, this video is all thanks to Samwel Naikada, his family and the rest of the community. I met so many people that unfortunately I cannot mention all of them here, but I only had positive experiences and everyone was extremely welcoming and kind!
The family and community are very keen on sharing their culture and lifestyle with others. So why not knock on their door and stay there against small payment instead of paying crazy money for some lodge? Why not immerse yourself in the culture of the country you are visiting instead of eating only tourist food and only having other tourists around you?

This is the perfect water bottle for me. It has everything I want. I don’t like how much noise the cap makes. In some situations it can be very annoying. I still prefer it to anything else because it’s full stainless steel with a little bit of silicone and bamboo. The sports cap will fix this issue, but it is not full SS. I like that everything is SS because it makes it easy to clean and harder for bacteria to grow.

I think you have a very sexy voice and i really like your review. I’m getting ready to buy a blue 20oz classic Klean Kanteen. i just hope that some of the negatives you mentioned have been fixed since your review. buy the sports cap and a smaller version if it bothers you the size.
Nice review, I bought it anyway because I couldn't find another bottle that is plastic-free, leak-free according to amazon reviews, and looks good.
You can buy other caps! The sport cap eliminate almost all of cons that you have with this bottle:D I want to buy this one too, my plastic bottle cracked:c
Try buying the sport cap. $6.

I dont think that it isolates better than a usual plastic bottle.. have u compared it (same size)?
+TITAN3084 I have not compared it but I just noticed that tea would stay hot forr at least three hours with average air temperature.

This review was helpful. Now there is an 18 oz. bottle, right? This isn't 18, is it? Either way, I think after seeing your review I am not going to buy the Klean Kanteen Reflect. The bamboo top and the stainless steel combination I thought to be quite attractive. However, your criticisms are compelling. Do you know of any other fine looking bottles on the market with a better design?
The bottle I reviewed was 27 oz. I don't really have experience with other brands. If I were you I would just go to a shop that has a good range of durable bottles, touch them, open them, examine them, ask some questions and then take the best one. I found out that doing lots of research on the internet o
often makes you waste a lot of time and you don't even end up with the product that is perfect for you. Of course, you do need such a shop in the neighbourhood otherwise it won't work ;)
