HYPERVIGILANCE
A visceral exploration of how stress, both acute and chronic, impacts the brain’s creative potential.
HYPERVIGILANCE examines three commonly identified large-scale networks in the human brain.
The default mode network (DMN), linked to introspection, creativity, and self-referential thinking. Dreaming.
Salience network (SM), which detects and filters important stimuli, switching between DMN and ECN as needed. Recalibrating.
The executive control network (ECN), responsible for focus, problem-solving and decision-making. Executing.
The video first explores how these networks respond under acute stress, culminating in hypervigilance-a state where brain interactions essential for creativity and complex problem-solving are impaired as the focus shifts to short-term survival.
The narrative then transitions to chronic stress, depicting the long-term disruption of network balance, hindering higher-order thinking, emotional resilience, and innovation.

WOW! Very informative and great motion graphics. Great job keep going!
Sad what happened to both Toronto an Montreal, you like at other transit systems around the world and they have a much more extensive rail system
Blue line extension: 2030 Edit: 2031 🤦♂️
Nice video! 👍
Lines Not built Line 3 🔴Red Line 6 ⚪ White Line 7 ❓(Unknown Color)
We need videos on these, I was researching line 6 that’s how I ended up here 😂
Line 7 was supposed to run under Pie-IX
Merci.
The green line started with 9 stations, count them!
On blue line overture in 1986. Parc station open 6 weeks after the first 5 station between St-Michel and Castelneau
Can you image the network we would have today if they would have continued like they did in 60s to the 80s. The Rem is a big step but It fell more like catching up.
Well, at this pace with STM we'll be getting about 3-5 stations every 20 years, it's a consistent pace! smh
Compared to Toronto, this metro system is so amazing! We only have 3 lines (We had 4 but just lot our 3rd line recently) and its so basic to all the other systems omg
@@awesomeman116acompared to Montreal the GO transit network is great to what ever Exo is doing, and has a firm plans for future expansion and development
Well done man! Love the graphics and the animations!
Wow !
