Alabama lost to the two pathetic teams that Carolina crushed, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, two unranked teams. Ole Miss lost to Kentucky and Florida. Two unranked teams, Carolina stomped Kentucky. Carolina lost to LSU by 3 pts (ripped off by terrible ref call), Ole Miss a bad loss, and Alabama by 2 pts. All three ranked teams. If Ole Miss deserved the CFP over Carolina, then why is Carolina in the Citrus Bowl and not Ole Miss? Wait until the Dec 31st when you discover how good Carolina is. Illinois is going to get stomped.

Illinois wlda got blown out if Tennessee had a pulse shooting the ball and if the starting point guard didn’t have to sit the whole second half plus Lanier out majority of the game the best scorer fouls out with 7 minutes left. The fouls were atrocious Illinois shooting 1 and 1 with 15 minutes left but having fouls to give at the end is wild. Never seen that big of a difference.

Turnovers in the last few minutes lost the game for them. Toughness was evident and great to see.

Tennessee had 17 offensive rebounds, and lockdown defense, i am shocked we actually were that close, tenn will never shoot thar poorly again. Jk is not ready for the nba.

This was Illinois’ game to lose. Bad coaching at the end. He makes to much money, has to many resources to not call a time out, put someone on the ball, and remind them to block the lane. Bad look for all coach making millions of dollars. Inexcusable.

I blame the coach he should have called timeout after he made the free throw. And the last play happened so fast they didn’t have time to set the defense it’s the coaches fault.

Brad underwood sure gets paid a lot of money to not coach. As you all pointed out, with the game on the line, no one making it hard to get the ball in bounds, he didn’t call a time out, not sure what he thought he was going to need it for if he didn’t use it, didn’t remind player to slide over and block the lane. Tennessee ran the length of the floor and made a layup to win in your building. Is that coaching? Or is wasting your chances yelling at a ref? These things to me are inexcusable at the D-1 level when you are the highest paid state employee. Be a damn coach!

Jk is a turnover machine!!! Was averaging 3.7 a game that will be over 4.0 a game now. If you are playing tight games that could be anywhere between 0 points to 12 on turnovers. So, those points off turnovers should be subtracted from his total. If they are unforced. He simply is not a good enough ball handler to be a point guard. He needs another year atleast if that is his position, which I don’t think it is. 88% ft shooter missed how many down the stretch? Lazily inbounds the ball, which put Illinois behind. And it was his man that drove to the basket to win the game. And you want to tell me an NBA team will draft him in the top 5!!!! NO WAY. This was his 10th college basketball game.
