I used to see that little blue one all the time when going past on the bus
Might have been dreary weather, but certainly an interesting variety of traction and rolling stock. From the Class 153 single dmu from the Central Wales line to the Valenta engined HSTs and the Class 90 push/pull on WCML inter city services - amazing variety and stirs good memories - I used to commute up/down the WCML from 1977-91. I always wondered where those light engines were going, running light off the depot and away up the slow line? Thanks for editing and sharing
Was that 450 at 2:19 that stopped from Hampton Court, Guildford, Woking or Chessington south
Gellis gelato used to run for slam doors
How does lightning blow out all track circets
I think there may be delays 😂
Did the 309s have that identical traction motors

My dad was a corporal with the RPC (518 COY). We lived in Little Aden them Mala, 1964-67. We went swimming in Elephant Bay, and school was Chapel Hill near Crater.

0:15 As of today all the C stock trains on the Hammersmith and city line are now withdrawn from active service and been replaced by the extended S stock trains
Came across this site and the first ship was Venus, my second ship in the RN. She suffered damage in the Second World War and in bad weather the quarterdeck mess was always getting flooded. 'appy days'
1:14 , there were a couple of old ex army trucks just like this that laid in a farm yard at Wilstead just south of Bedford for years . Perhaps my mind is playing tricks on me , but I'd wager a tenner it's the same truck .
Fantastic video of a unique part of British railway history! :D I was just wondering, would it be possible for me to use this footage as part of an upcoming documentary I'm creating about the history of the Class 322?
HMS Triumph at Chatham, fond memories. It also sums up the Government's, and certain Admirals ignorance that all the hard work we put into that ship over nearly two years to get her at readiness for sea at short notice was thrown away by bloody-minded pig ignorance. She was scrapped in 1981 and we all know what happened in 1982. Diligence did a great job in the Falklands but HMS Triumph was almost custom made to support our land and sea forces.
RIP Pete.
The Fast Patrol boat shown here is Brave Swordsman and not Brave Borderer.
Where is it yet?
My first tour was from 1966 to 1967, straight from training and pass out, green as the grass could be!
12:16 you’ll never get a hat running down that line nowa days
How it’s changed
Oooooh a 365 old front!!!!!
Good old 373 class Eurostars on High Speed One racing through Ashford International at 90-100 MPH
In 1972 I learnt to drive in the army, in an RL, no syncromesh nor power steering, but boy, those air brakes stopped it! Back then it was classed as HGV3.
Nice photos Peter. I was there 1965 - 1967 at RAF Khormaksar.
This is 20 years ago this clip
It has to be with the sort if livery km seeing also the 365s had its original front so its 100%either 20 yrs or somewhere near that
That 365 looks like a 465 with original front end
It basically was a modded one. But they rarely saw cleaning
As of today no more Eurostar’s ever used the east coast mainline again
Longsight had all power twin 101s?
1:59 Class 58: Don't mind me.
Aden was beautiful before, and now do not be shy, talk about it everywhere. I am looking for it. Now it is living in conflict. Why is it not ruled by its sons, the unity regime, and Sanaa is trying to destroy it and take it again? Be with Aden in international forums, representatives of the Transitional Council around the world, search for them, to reach your solidarity with Aden.
