Mike Showalter right? His new band sounds good. I've read about Scrub that they were handled as the next Hole and also tattooed their fans before gigs. It's a shame that 'Wake Up' remained their only release. Yes, I would be interested in more information about them, thank you.

@Diana-Kittens-Grunge-Archive yeah apparently the 3 unique german songs were songs they had leftover so the label put them on the german version as a bonus. petra was doing some local home stuff with a friend(im not sure who that friend but I cant help but think maybe lon williams as he would follow mike into his second band he was in, suisonic) but mike isnt sure what petra is doing now. he hasnt talked to them in a while. apparently they also discussed doing a scrub reunion at one point but nothing came of it. thats all i have. i didnt wanna push mikes buttons or nothing so the only questions i asked were about the german version of the cd and what happened to petra. also i was unaware they were also doing tattooos i thought it was piercings.

No, you're right. It's piercing, I confused it with tattooing. I just find it interesting that Petra has never revealed her surname and then a separate German version was available. I have a speculation that she's originally from Germany herself since Petra is a very common name here and she maybe avoided stating her surname because it would have been too unusual or complicated for the label and audience, but that's just an assumption. Anyway, thank you for the info, I appreciate it.

Hello! First, thank you for your kind words of support and encouragement. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately I don't recognize the song. For me it sounds more like traditional 90's Alternative then Grunge, they remind me a bit of Mercury Rev. Finding the right song won't be easy, but I'm almost 100% sure that they appeared on one of the Local Music Store compilations, although maybe not with this particular song. I could find Rev It Up! and some other LMS compilations on Discogs, but only a few bands like Laburnum or The Mockers are present on UA-cam. Some of these bands have rather generic names like Toy or Hippo, hard to find valuable info in such cases. The best way would be to purchase these samplers, although they aren't cheap and there's no guarantee that you will find the band on it. My only advice I can give you is to maybe look a bit more for the people who worked on these samplers, from the producers to the artwork artist. Discogs has most of them labeled by names. Maybe these people are on Social Media like Facebook and you can contact them. Another good idea is to find out more about Digital Cable Radio, maybe they still have their old archives. Hi! Hard to find any valuable info for them since most results for Snatch on the web are for the Guy Ritchie movie. I only know that they were from Atlanta and just found out that they released a second album in 1994, "Cornbread & Alister Meowly". Some copies are on eBay and Amazon, quite pricey though.

Hallo! Ich weiß leider gar nicht ob Mitschnitte dieser Konzerte überhaupt existieren. Konnte im Internet leider nichts finden. Die Livekonzerte als Audio vom Southside, Berlin und Köln findest du auf dem Kanal Jonas & Union Youth Archive. Da wurden auch diese unveröffentlichten Songs gespielt. Vom Dortmund Konzert gibt es die Live-Auftritte hier auf UA-cam.

Hey, Jeremy. Thanks for writing back. I'm not a musician, just someone who tries to archive Grunge bands on the channel. Your band Ethereal was earlier called Disaffected Youth, right? I've tried to find the album "Generation Nothing" with no success, but than I've searched for the titels and found your channel. It's really great. Can the album be found anywhere with all songs included? Would be great if I could create a playlist for it. Had to refrain from further uploading, because someone is false-flagging my videos and UA-cam is too lazy to look into the cause itself, they gave me a two weeks ban for a harmless cover with plastic guns. I don't want to risk a channel termination, so only playlists now.

@Diana-Kittens-Grunge-Archive if u look up disaffected youth on last fm all the songs are on there,,or they should be. I was almost able to release that album on an indie label and I declined the offer. Now I really regret it. I'm also doing vocals and drum stuff for a band called Maxine status. Please look that up on UA-cam when u get a chance 😎 🎸
