I don’t know if Newman ever got together with Dean but Newman said once in an interview he slept with Robert Redford during the filming of one of their movies. Likely butch and Sundance. It was even a question on an original episode of the Hollywood squares which I found shocking. And has famously often repeated the only woman he ever slept with was his wife. I remember one of my journalism teachers I college actually got to interview Newmans wife once about something she was doing and at the very end of the interview when it was basically over he quickly asked.
