I'm John Van Rullen and I really enjoy 4WDing, camping and now touring with a caravan. I have a 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser that I use for camping and going off-road. In 2020 we purchased a Supreme Territory 15'06" off-road caravan that we (my wife Shirley and I) want to travel Australia with. Because of the low towing capacity of the FJ Cruisers, we purchased a 2020 Ford Ranger to tow the caravan.
I started making basic videos of our trips back in 2017, and have been recording videos ever since. I only make the videos as a hobby, and started the UA-cam channel as a way of sharing my videos with family and friends. I'm not interested in making money from UA-cam and having to create content on a regular basis.

Walpole 2023 (re-published March 2023)
In January 2023, Shirley and I went to Walpole for two weeks with friends Nat and John.
On the way down to Walpole, Shirley and I stayed at Karri Gully for an overnight stop, and on the way back home we stayed at Workers Pool Campground.
While staying at the Coalmine Holiday Park in Walpole, we visited Bellanger Beach, Peaceful Bay, Little Long Point, Long Point, Hush Hush Beach, Parry Beach, Hillier Beach, The Giant Tingle Tree, The Granite Skywalk, kayaked up the Frankland River and more.

Shark Bay Road Trip 2022 (re-published March 2023)

In July 2022, Shirley and I went for a trip to Shark Bay with my brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Toni. We stayed in Kalbarri for four days before heading up to Shark Bay for 13 days. We had a great trip, which included going up to Cape Peron and going across to Steep Point.
Hopetoun - 2022 (re-published March 2023)

In January 2022, Shirley and I went to Hopetoun for two weeks with our friends Nat and John. We had our first overnight free-camps with the caravan at Holt Rock and Dumbleyung. We explored around Hopetoun, including the Fitzgerald River National Park, Bremer Bay, Esperance, Cape Le Grand National Park and more.
Dunsborough 2021 - 60th Birthday Trip (re-published March 2023)

In December 2021, my family organised a fantastic 7 day trip to Dunsborough for my 60th Birthday. We went 4WDing, Fishing, kayaking, exploring and more.

In December 2017, Shirley and I went for a trip to Dongara for a long weekend with my brother and sister-in-law (Frank & Toni). We started at Two Rocks and explored many of the tracks and beach runs on the way to Cervantes, Greenough and Dongara.

In April 2018, Shirley and I did a 5 day road trip through the Central Goldfields Region of Western Australia with my brother and sister-in-law (Frank & Toni). We stayed at Hyden for a couple of nights and then went to Kalgoorlie for two nights. We also went up to Menzies to check out the sculptures at Lake Ballard. On the way home we drove through a heavy rainstorm with a spectacular lightning...

From 26th December 2018 - 28th January 2019, Shirley and I went on a fantastic 5 week road trip with my brother and sister-in-law (Frank & Toni) across the Nullarbor and over to Tasmania.

In September 2020, Shirley and I went on a 4 day road trip with my brother and sister-in-law (Frank & Toni) down to the Margaret River Region to explore a number of 4WD tracks, including 3 Bears track, Kilcarnup track and North Point.
Preston Beach - Logue Brook Dam 2021 (re-published March 2023)

In April 2021, my daughter Kara and I went on a day trip starting at Whitehills beach, driving on the beach down to Preston Beach. We then went to Logue Brook Dam via Harvey and explored the tracks around Lake Brockman. Then we went back to Preston Beach and drove along the beach in the dark to Whitehills beach and then home.
Bridgetown - June 2017 (re-published March 2023)

In June 2017, Shirley and I went to Bridgetown for the weekend with my brother and sister-in-law (Frank & Toni). We started at Mundaring Weir and navigated our way through bush tracks all the way to Bridgetown. We also went to Windy Harbour and Gnomesville before heading home.
