Here is the beautiful song "(You Bring Out) The Best Of The Woman (In Me)", written by premier British songwriter Les Reed OBE in collaboration with Roger Greenaway. I recorded it in London in April 1978. Almost a decade earlier, on a previous trip to London, I reorded the LP 'Connie Francis Sings the Songs of Les Reed', on which Les had written all the songs, accompanied me on the piano, arranged, directed and produced at his Wessex Reed studio.
When learning I would be recording this later album, 'Who's Happy Now, in London, I immediately contacted Les, asking if he could provide me with more songs. "The Best Of The Woman" is one of three that we chose. I hope you like it.

This is so beautiful! I was so fortunate to meet Connie when she was on my flight almost 16 years ago. My dad had just passed away after a 2 year cancer battle and this was my first flight back to work after his funeral. My heart was so heavy and completely broken. I felt that having Connie on my flight that day was a gift from God. Knowing how nostalgic that would be and what joy it would bring me after such a great loss. Connie was gracious enough to allow a picture to be taken of she and I. It was such a wonderful gift and I am ever grateful. Such a warm, pleasant person.
