This is fantastic and as so many others have said, this should be played by every country everywhere. John would be so happy with this performance. His love for humanity is reflected in so many of his songs. Continue to get stronger, John. We love you ❤️ ❤❤ This song has the power to unite the world and stop the hatred for and violence again our brothers and sisters everywhere - we are the same inside, we all bleed, we all breathe, we all need, lets start being kind to and respecting each other and valuing each others differences. ❤❤
As an Australian male, I can only say "What a great clip" wonderful, bloody wonderful
Thankyou for this wonderful version of Your the Voice from a very proud Aussie with Irish roots I have always loved this song. John Farnham would be so proud of your performance. Well done. 👏👏👏
I was one of John Farnham's pipers for his Jack of Heart tour in 1996 and he would be more than happy with your rendition of 'Your the Voice' . Well done ! BTW my family originated in Carncastle , north of Belfast.
its just great
Now THATS a conductor,,,,,wish John joined them half way through. That would have been epic
What a wonderful tribute from an Irish choir to an English born Australian who put the Scottish bagpipes in his biggest hit. The most amazing part of all this is that if John were out the front with a microphone, he would drown them all out.
Since last night, I can't escape listening to all versions of this universal song but of course Sir John Farnham's performances of this masterpiece is by far unparalleled.Listening from the Philippines.
My great grandfather is from Belfast Thomas Cairns and Margaret my great grand mother. I love music too. Im from NZ and Maori. My great grandad and wife lived in Antrium Ireland. One day I would love to visit that place before I die. No books in front of them no music sheets all natural singers eh thats us I got chucked out of music school 3 weeks after i started to learn to play piano and i had no piano at all in was built in my head. But i never failed assessments once. I got caught playing an opera piece witout music I picked the music up by ear listening to it each day played by one of the students next door to me. I took up modern pop but played her operatic stuff without realising her music piece stuck in my head so did all the other students pieces my brain was full of everyone music. lols. sorry music teacher, I reckon that come from my great grands from Ireland not forgetting my Maori trupadors. Bless yous
Lovely 💕🇦🇺
Brilliant
I lived in Holywood, Belfast for a bit in the late 90's during the Marching season, it was an eye-opener for a young Australian but I loved it and have a lot of time for the Irish - Hell my surname is McCarthy!
A bloody ripper, cobbers.
This song...so powerful, so inspiring! Well done!
World's greatest conductor!
As an old Australian bloke, I honestly believe Mr. Farnham would be serverly chuffed by this...
G'day our Irish brothers .great job everyone but the lady conductor she showed the amount of passion things anthem needs well done
well done
Get well John..he would be proud of this version
Powerful Factor boosted 10x just for the fact that folk from Belfast are singing this, especially factoring in what it was like there in the '80s when this song was released. Great job.
Well done guys. Was awesome. This song should be the worlds Anthem
would've been great to be there to hear this live. Loved it, from S.A
Stunning version of a brilliant song. Thank you for the tears of joy I am wiping away as I am typing this
Wow, great rendition. Not John Farnham's powerful version, but close. Loved it.
👏👏👏👏 ❤️Ed The Bagpipes….Oh and the choir…
As soon as the first few beats kicked in and then the singing, WOW! Everyone did an amazing job, as an Aussie who grew up on John Farnham music, this is one of the best renditions of this song!!
frontwoman is like a boss - just wonderful how she did the walk. me too brougt it one two tears in my eye. 🙂 ua-cam.com/users/sgaming/emoji/7ff574f2/emoji_u1f642.png
Awesome! And love the two ladies front row on the right end, green dress and white dress, who really got in to the music! Love it
This was so well done. AWESOME choir master EXCELLENT composition and ending! Got this Aussie bawling in pride. Xx👏👏👏
Espetacular
Goosebump performance guys. Well done. Can feel the energy that song brings to the room. 💗
I hope people understand the significance of the Belfast Community Choir singing this song. I’m sure when it was written the composers were surely speaking to the people of Belfast. Beautiful, great job! Thank you BCC from Australia.
This song should become an anthem for the world.
You should check out the original version from John Farnham! NOT an official video, but live version from Classic Jack Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Powerful!
Bugger me, how can you not LOVE the Irish! Aussies love our Irish brothers and sisters, such fire, such passion, they radiate a joy for life only found elsewhere in Australians and Italians! Goodonya mates!
😃😊🌏🪐🍀🌕🙏🦋🌸🇦🇺👣🦉🏡🌴🌹🌹🌹
Amazing performance!
Beautiful . Love the harmonies.
Spine tingling - bravo! I recall singing along to this with John Farnham at an Adelaide concert, & an end of year school performance of the song I organised with another teacher. Our two classes not only sang, with their art work as a backdrop, but some performed the chorus in Auslan, (Australian sign language). As a surprise, we’d managed to hire a local piper to play with us! Great memories of a great song.
Sensacional, lindo demais
Beautiful! <3 <3 <3
With all the shite happening in Ukraine this song is so very powerful - outstanding
This came up in my feed, what a great job you all did. Kudos to the choir, musicians and choirmaster for a wonderful rendition. 👏👏👏 This has become an unofficial Aussie anthem, most Australians know the words to this. The world is in a bit of mess right now, the words of chorus echoes what I am sure the majority of us feel. Good that this great song is being appreciated in Belfast. 🇮🇪 ♥️ 🇦🇺
I am LIVING for this choir master. Go OFF, Queen!
Definitely!
ARen't we ALL so lucky to be able to play musical instruments! Our Hands!.
This almost gets there, so good on them... but doesn't have any of the necessary power. It's only a shadow of the one performed so many times since 1986 by John Farnham in Australia. Hear the difference with this version. ua-cam.com/video/6m2m_9Uijso/v-deo.html
Have just listened to this now. Very moving. What a special personn John was. Never to be forgotten. Thank you for sharing this.
What an amazing performance totally awesome 👏
What a fantastic version of great song Well done God Bless you all
Wow amazing!
As an Australian, who grew up with this iconic Australian song,& our much beloved John Farnham,I’d like to say Thankyou .That was lovely.Your performance gave me goosebumps and brought a tear to my eye. I think you did the song justice, whilst also bringing your own interpretation. Great job!
