“Why is Edgeworth defending?” Clearly he hasn’t played Ace attorney where Ace goes from Defense lawyer to prosecutor and detective all in the same court session with 0 fucking substantial evidence and all nearly baseless accusations. He usually just proves the innocence of the defendant by accusing the witness 90% of the time lol. He’ll go “Oh man, it’s obvious he did it because how does he know this thing did this weird thing specifically HMMMM?!”, then they all gasp and the witness freaks out after like 5 or 6 accusations. Literally the only one who seems to know what they’re doing is Edgeworth while everyone else is brainless and is overpaid.
