this company brushes itself with social media make up but their stock value is at all time low, going down as id there's no limit to the bottom. their financial management is a joke, they don't care about the stock price, no reverse split or dividents, just pure news hype that's all. and they never answer their emails from investors. they will fail, they are failing already. investing in them was my worst financial decision.

Firstly, thank you to ShareSoc for undertaking to interview the manager of this trust for the benefit of private investors like me. Secondly, no thanks to manager, who has a transparency issue and is being paid for both failure and tendencies of opacity. But for those interested in the opinion of a truly (and rightfully) disgruntled investor, here is what I believe to be the truth: 1. INCREASE IN OPTIONS TRADING - Here the manager fails to tell the truth in simple terms, which is that if they are going to buy higher quality growth companies and simultaneously create income, they must convert some of the capital in to income. This is what the options trading will do (expensively). 2. TOP 10 HOLDINGS DON'T APPEAR TO HAVE YIELDS THAT EQUATE TO THE YIELD OF THE TRUST - This was an excellent enquiry by an investor during the interview. Here the manager skirts around the question, and does not mention the fact the trust has historically recycled capital in to companies approaching ex-dividend. In previous Edison reports this has been described as the manager being "dividend aware in an inefficient market", but it is not. This is the manager churning the portfolio and converting capital in to income. Another financial magic trick alongside the options trading! 3. BEING CAUGHT OUT BY VALUE TRAPS - This was perhaps a part of the interview where the manager is at his most transparent, but it is a shocking admission that they are responsible for “value traps” that has caused the sizeable level of capital destruction that has occurred since 2019. As investors paying high fees, do we not pay a manager for their expertise in not being caught out by value traps? SHAME ON THE MANAGER, SHAME ON THE BOARD, SHAME ON THE CHAIRMAN (RONALD GOULD).

Could you please create a valuation video. Trying to determine the intrinsic value?

Not sure that comparison chart @ 9:35 is including reinvested FTSE dividends- FTSE has done much better than almost flat since 2007.

Share price in December 2012, 46.6p . Over almost 12 years, it has has hardly moved. A dreadful performance.. The directors have failed shareholders. I expect the motor cost to soar. I heard the same message on PPI and it finally cost Lloyds shareholders billions.

Please this is a core holding in my sipp. Fees are a little on the high side and I would be interested to have seen performance data gross and net of fees. Wish they could grow the AUM and get these down to <0.5% which is more market at this point in time.
